BOULDER -The University of Colorado's women's golf team returns to action and will open its spring season at the Northrop Grumann Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif., from Monday through Wednesday at the Palos Verdes Golf Club. The three day event will feature 18 holes each day on the par-71, 5,912-yard course.
The tournament is one of the season's best, as five of the 15 teams in the event are ranked in the top 16 in the country. No. 3 Florida, No. 4 TCU and No. 7 Arizona State headline the event with UCLA (No. 13) and Southern California (No. 16) both being ranked in the top 20. Other teams competing include California, Denver, Duke, Louisville, Michigan State, Ohio State, Pepperdine, UC Irvine and Wake Forest.
