PALOS VERDES, Calif. - Senior Christine Kim had the best day of any golfer in the final round of a star-studded field at the Northrop Grumann Regional Challenge. She enable the University of Colorado women's golf team to post its best score in the final round with a 309, but it wasn't enough to propel the Buffs out of 14th place, where they finished with a three round total of 933.
Christine Kim shot an even par round of 71 and finished with a three-day total of 226, tied for 21st place individually. Starting on the 16th hole, she birdied two of her first three holes and had four total birdies on the round. She was again impressive on the first nine holes of the course, shooting 1-over for the third straight day. But unlike Tuesday when she bogeyed the last three holes, she rounded out her tournament with pars on the two hardest holes on the course and then finished with a birdie on the last hole to earn the distinction of being the only player in the third round that didn't shoot above par.
