Buffs Compete At All-Comers Meet

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. — University of Colorado junior Alex Von Hagen won the long jump with a personal record at the Air Force Academy All-Comers Meet on Friday night to kick off the 2010 season for the Buffaloes.

Von Hagen recorded a leap of 21 feet, 6 ½ inches for his first victory of the season. Von Hagen was one of three Buffs to earn a victory in the jumps events. Freshmen Jason DeWitt and Holly Odneal each tied for first in the high jump at their first collegiate meet. DeWitt cleared 6-6 3/4 while Odneal reached a height of 5-5.
