Bowl Games (other than ours) and associated silliness 2024 Plus the Playoffs

Which Bama?

Bama played bad enough to lose to this Indiana team at least 5 times this season.

Bama's ceiling is higher, and the have more NFL talent, but they were not the unequivocally better team this year.
Eyeball tonight. Retroscope

And advanced data. But losses matter. They didn’t get it done.

Oh I forgot about her. So hot.

So why are you talking about them?
I think Indiana is overmatched, and weaker than Bama and likely other teams. We have moved to a must deserving model especially as the committee grapples with the concept of three loss teams. This will be bounced around with other conceits like the-seeding after the first round as tweaks are made the better the system.

No, that's not why you are talking about a team that wasn't good enough. Good try at avoiding the question.

Gotcha fan boi. No one cares about the sec crybabies. And you aren't helping the secs case.
Not crying. Neither deserve to be in. I’m merely making an observation about this Indiana team and how the 12 team playoff is working in year one. No need to make it personal with twisted panties. I’ll go long on this topic if you want.

Indiana is not very good. We all knew that. Luckiest schedule ever.

And that was not a catch.
They really struggled against two too Ds. And again tonight.not surprised, at all. Cig looked rough at 1/2. Panel was trying to be nice.

I think Bama would likely beat ASU, Clemson, SMU, PSU, Boise, and Indiana. At some point, these teams gotta win their games to have an argument. 1 loss P4 should always get in over a 3 loss Bama

With these larger conferences you can't be making blanket statements like this though, just look at Indiana's schedule for this year. Same with Missouri and there's a reason they weren't in the same discussion as Bama/Ole Miss/SCarolina as far as just missing a CFP spot

In other words, SoS and SoR really matter in these larger conference formats. Committee will reframe how they look at data after this year, I predict.

The topic of Bama being too ****ty for the playoff is dumb so please go on about Bama so we can keep laughing at them and the sec with their 8-game schedule.

This year's committee did a terrible job of taking strength of schedule into account and instead just took a 4th-grader mentality and took the P4 teams in order of least amount of losses.
