Didn't see a thread on this, but just an FYI for everyone thinking about going, prices dropped on MGM hotels this morning. Don't know how long they will be down though.

Got NYNY for a pretty good deal. Been to every CU tournament game in Vegas. Excited to make it in year 4.

Bump.

Tournament begins exactly 4 weeks from today. How many allbuffers are making the trip? Also if you haven't gone, go. You need to. Its a blast.

Just a reminder that the Pac-12 tournament is less than 2 weeks away and you should go because its a lot of fun.

Also if the season ended today, this is how the bracket would look. (All times, PT)

We usually go out to Vegas for the 1st round, but are headed out for the Pac-12 tournament this year. Any reviews on the pregame festivities like the Hard Rock meetup or the MGM pool parties? I am just curious on everyone's pro tips for the tourney. We are really looking forward to it!

Hard Rock stuff is pretty cool. Band typically shows up and does a pep rally. Free food of some kind typically and good drink specials during the rally.

MGM Pool Party with Pac-12 is not bad. A little cheesy, but it is what it is. Really loved what they did in LA in front of Staple Center with the battle of the bands. Only got to do it one year, but that was a lot of fun. MGM does have one of the better pool decks on the strip IMO though. Good place to hang out when you don't want to gamble the day away.

Other than that I would say, make sure to bring good shoes for walking because if you aren't in the MGM, getting to the Garden Arena from the other hotels is a long way.

Friend of mine is keeping track of our potential final seeds, and it appears we are can now finish anywhere between 3rd and 7th. Big news because it eliminates that 12pm game on the 1st day as a possibility.

Also looks like ASU will be locked in at 11th now

Scenarios:

3 Seed - CU Wins at Utah, Cal loses to Arizona and Arizona State, Stanford beats Arizona
4 Seed - CU Wins at Utah, Arizona loses to Cal or Stanford, USC loses to OSU or Oregon
4 Seed - CU Wins at Utah Cal loses to Arizona and Arizona State, Arizona beats Stanford
5 Seed (plays WSU) - CU Wins at Utah, Cal beats Arizona, USC beats OSU and Oregon
5 Seed (plays WSU) - CU loses at Utah, USC loses to OSU or Oregon
6 Seed (plays ASU) - CU loses at Utah and USC wins at OSU and Oregon

So my guess is we are a 4 seed with a win at Utah, 5 seed with a loss at Utah

Lots to play for on Saturday!

4 Seed would be absolutely wonderful. I would love to have nothing to do on Wednesday when I get off the plane.

The 5/6 seed is most likely. Really hope we don't face Washington State. They're the only team that could knock us out of the dance due to their awful ratings across the board.

We're a 5 right now I believe (10-7 while USC is 8-8)

If it ended now it'd be:

1 Oregon
2 Utah
3 Cal
4 Arizona
5 CU

That was a weird injury game. We already beat them at their house by 5. Jelly back and some March motivation, WSU should be handled at neutral site. *should*

Yeah, I wouldn't read much into that game unless we are missing a key player again. Wazzu has a couple nice pieces and should probably not be 1-16 bad, but even still I'm not sure how ASU or UCLA could be deemed preferable. ASU is a top 100 team. Wazzu is not.
