Looks like an offer may have gone out to this 6'2" G from Riverside California.

http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/chance-stephens shows 5 other offers right now, with San Diego State probably being the most notable.

His recruiting page (with, among other things, highlight videos) - http://www.chancestephens2022.com/
(Per that, he averaged 14.1 pts/ 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game his past sophomore season. He led the team in both 3 pointers made (83) and accuracy (46%).)

No Buff offer at this time, but at least per the below tweet the Buffs have been in contact with this 6'4"-6'5" combo guards from Amarillo Texas, and it looks like he already has a few solid offers.

6'6" SG (per Rivals) or 6'7" SF (per 247) from Wichita Kansas. (247 composite rankings currently has him as the 35th overall recruit for his class, and #10 SF. Rivals has predictions of him eventually picking KU.)

Article on him-

6'9" PF from Enderlin North Dakota.

Looking ahead, this kid has gotten offers left and right. AND GOOD NEWS, 247 has us listed as warm along with Iowa, nebraska, and Ohio State. Wisconsin is also hoping to make an impression apparently. 247 has him as the 52 recruit in the country, while Rivals has him 93.

I can't say he's the most amazing player, but he's a SOLID prospect - skilled big. I also like his shoulders - very broad and potential to really pack on some muscle.

Unlike the below tweet says, 247 doesn't show a Buff offer yet. But, whether one's come yet or not, it makes sense CU would be very interested in this heavily recruited 6'3" (per HUDL) - 6'5" (per 247) SG from Fresno, California.

Per the below tweet, the Buffs at some point may have offered this 7'0" C from Gilbert Arizona.
(Can't find any confirmation from another source re the Buffs offer from a QUICK Google search, but with many other blue chip offers showing on 247 and their high rankings for him, it would make sense the Buffs could have offered.)

Lots of Luv for '21 or '22 classes: Tad seems to want 1 more big, 1 more point guard, and (at least?) 1 more big guard/ wing.

1) Still Luv '21 Kenny Pohto, if Tad decides to add a '21 big (or transfer?) w/ last open spot by this summer.

Also Luv fellow Swede, 6'10 Sebastian Forsling. 6'11 Australian, David Okwera, off the board-announced he'll go pro.

2) '22 Dyson Daniel's elite D & fit should keep him Tad's top choice at point, if he doesn't decide to go pro.

'21 Adama Bal- big, long combo guard to play some point- like '22's JoJo Hunter, Anthony Black, Langston Reynolds.

Luv to hear CU had Zoom call with '21 KJ Simpson also, expanded O game, still potential for elite D-first point-guard fit.

Still Luv '21 Zaon Collins fit too, really tragic- another driver died in car accident in-which Zaon used marijuana, DUI dropped.

Luv '22 Tajavis Miller to stay CU top choice also, as 6'3 point guard w/ 6'8 length has Tad Ball IQ, character, et al.

'22 class is deepest at point-guard spots & wing/3 spots (CU's needs), so plenty of good options for 2-3 spots in '22.

'22 Point Guards/Combos: Texas: Brendan Hausen, PJ Haggerty, TJ Caldwell. West: Koren Johnson, Aidan Mahaney, Milos Uzan,
Dasean Lecque, DJ Dudley, Christian Watson. Christian Winborne (Baltimore) looks like Ivy League-smart future pro-baller/engineer.

3) Interesting to see if Tad getting another '21(or transfer) big puts Da Silva primarily on wing, but probably still need another long wing.

Luv to hear CU had some contact w/ '21 transfer Jaxson Robinson, 6'7 w/ elite D/ Rbd/ jump shot, another high-character Tad Ball guy.

'22 Wings: Jaylen Thompson & Chris Bunch of California; Terrance Arceneaux, Jason Thirdkill & Kiante Williams of Texas.
Learic David & Danilo Jovanovich of Wisconsin. Or even Kimanti Hamilton (MS), Alphonzo Billups (VA) & Jared Turner (DC).

'22 Bobi Klintman-my 3rd potential future pro Swede?- 6'8 guard's recruitment to blow-up w/ exposure from move to Kansas' Sunrise Christian.

But especially Luv Steven Clay for CU, Wisconsin, 6'7 3&D w/ great outside shot, can bring it up the court/ put it on the deck as combo guard.

Tell me the Arceneaux kid isn't Harold's son. My God, I'd start digging my grave now. If it is, he played on the Weber State team that beat North Carolina in the tourney in '99.

Luv to see who CU recruits to join Joe Hurlburt w/ 2 open spots in '22? CU has elite guard depth to play Tad's preferred 2 point-guard, up-tempo game now.

JoJo Hunter recruited early enough for chance at CU visit? Tad likes big guard/wings to play some point. FSU game showed we need perimeter size in March.

Tajavis Miller other combo guard that CU was far enough along with, that we could still see a visit from? Luv 6'8 length +Tad Ball D, Rbding, IQ, character, etc

But assume 1-2 wing/forwards has to be priority for Tad over another guard? Previously on Twitter: CU had interest in Braden Appelhans, 6'6 Missouri wing.

6'8 Bobi Klintman has had previous CU interest also-Sweden to Kansas. I Luv Wisconsin's 6'7 Steven Clay: 3&D game that CU needs, long arms, ball skills.

Other '22 Wings CU has chance to get into their top 5/get a visit from: Jaylen Thompson, Chris Bunch & Shy Odom(CA); Jordan Walsh, Terrance Arceneaux, Jason Thirdkill & Kiante Williams(up to 6'10 now!) of TX; Learic David & Danilo Jovanovich (WI); Kimani Hamilton (MS), Alphonzo Billups (VA), Jared Turner (DC).

CU previously connected to 6'7 Nevada power forward Joshua Jefferson. Luv his versatility-including good size, shooting, passing. Probably play some 3 too.

Other 3/4 combo forwards: Jasen Green(NE), Taj Manning(MO), Shawn Jones(TX), Nigel Burris & Jorge Ochoa(CA). 6'9 Arop Arop (more SF)-from TX to MN.

Tad may recruit true big, like stretch/posts Charles Chukwu(TX) or Henri Adiassa(CA), so Da Silva can continue on wing? Luv D, Rbding & versatility w/ CU's other bigs of: Jeremiah Nyarko, Koat Keat & Yohan Traore(CA), Ahjany Lee & Elivs Naji (MN), Kebba Njie (IN), Malik Dia(TN), Tichyque Musaka(NC), Keba Keita(UT).

1-2 more big/wings should keep CU in conversation w/ Oregon, USC, UCLA & Arizona for top frontcourt in PAC-12! +CU has the elite & efficient uptempo Tad Ball guards that will be tough for most teams to match-up with! CU could go 1-2 against Kansas, Tennessee, Creighton & still be in top-25 by December. I predict 2-1!

When Hurlburt arrives Walker will be a junior (assuming he's still around) as will da Silva and Lovering a sophomore. I wonder if it might be wise to take a grad transfer big to give a bit more experience in the front court as well as giving both Lovering Hurlburt a bit more time to develop.

Good point. I imagine Boyle may hold in to at least 1 of those 2 opens spots until next Spring. Partially to see what specific team need he may have after this year, but partially because there will likely continue to be such good talent in transfer portal! Luv hearing Tad say he wants to keep primarily building with High School talent. Elite development program, like his, should get even more popular with recruits who won’t transfer at first sign of displeasure.

With it becoming increasingly likely that Jabari Walker will be entering the NBA draft after this season finding one and perhaps two more "bigs" (4/5) - beyond Hurlburt - becomes imperative. At least one needs to have college experience so that the Buffs are highly dependent on freshmen and sophomores in the 22-23 season (at this point - assuming Walker declares for the NBA draft - da Silva would be the only upperclassmen on the roster).

Obviously Hurlburt is onboard to sign in November and looks to be a solid prospect. My guess - like @Luke - is that Tad will save at least one scholarship for the spring and will have a second available if Walker leaves. And it's likely one of those scholarships goes to a transfer from a D1 program.

I simply don't agree with the need for bigs.

It's an advantage to have a few guys over 6'8" who can play, but you actually don't need any.

This year's Final Four and the eventual champion drove that home for me. What you need is shot-making and the athleticism to be the aggressor.

I'm in favor of building a team on the Villanova model & then only taking a big when he's able to orchestrate from the high post and not be a liability on defensive rotations to the perimeter.

The majority of 3 point shooting left. PG is a position of need, but a proven threat on the perimeter would be valuable

(Per 247, he has 13 offers, with the Buffs, corn and ASU listed as "warm".)

If you would have told me we would have gotten a guy in DC and Mass that are top 100 guys in back to back classes 5 years ago I would have called you crazy. Now I’m not even blinking. Will say there’s so many transplants from the northeast to Denver always thought that we could recruit that area more!

Luv CU visit & offer for one of the top passers in ‘22- point guard Avery Brown! Plus offered 6’6 combo guard-Chancellor White- this week, who can play on wing. I would take both! Milos Uzan only other true point guard I'm hearing connected to CU on Twitter, besides Brown.

Tad obviously interested in big guard/wing, with recent contact of 6’6 combo guard/wings JoJo Hunter, Chris Dockery, & Kendal Johnson. Play 1-3 spots, like White.

Maybe Tad rolls with bigs he has (Allen or O'Brien may be able to defend some stretch 4s, if needed?), or only recruits ‘22 big or '22 transfer if Walker tests NBA early? But seems like Jasen Green, Pharrell Payne, Joshua Jefferson are '22 big/wings closest to CU offers? Ultra-versatile Bobi Klintman & Aaron Price next in line?

CU's early offers to bigs '23 Baye Fall, Assane Diop, & '24 Jacob Cofie makes me think Tad priorities guards now (even if red-shirts some?), and rolls with just 4 bigs?

A little more confirmation in the below tweet that, as @MarkW noted a couple posts ago, that the Buffs seem to be interested in (although they haven't offered yet) Jasen Green, who is a 6'7"-6'8" PF from Omaha. (247 also shows the Buffs in their College list for him.)

(In addition to the offers listed as I type this, I see a few tweets that Creighton may have also just offered today.)

IIRC, there was a 247 article (free) where he stated he thought Tad was waiting to offer until he had seen him play in person this summer.
