2023 WBB Recruit Profile Index

Copying what I posted in the 2022 thread (prior to this thread being created)-

WBB look to have possibly offered a 2023 player in this 6'1" wing from Hudsonville, Michigan who also plays club ball with Michigan Basketball Academy.

HS Stats - https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/maddie--petroelje/oLe1g9mneE-XlwTqv0zQPw/girls-basketball/stats.htm
(Seems to already have developed a very good shot, as will over 1/2 her 11.4 points per game as a freshmen were from beyond the arc, from where she shot 38%.)

Interview with her from this past April - https://www.mlive.com/highschoolspo...e-petroelje-finds-success-in-high-school.html

Note to mods- we may want to start up 2024 WBB and MBB recruiting threads, as per the below WBB may have offered this 6'2"-6'3" F from Rocklin CA.
(In addition to playing with and attending Whitney HS, also looks to play club ball with the Jason Kidd 16U AAU per the below tweet. From only scanning down her Twitter account for the last month, conference mates Cal and Arizona have also recently offered.)

Looks like there has been a Youtube channel set up with some highlights - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDhE4_-8FlquUAsPjbFH69A/videos

Looks like the team has its 1st 2023 commitment (at least I know about). It is 5'8" PG Kennedy Sanders, who plays for and attends Chaska HS (in Chaska, Minnesota), as well as playing with the Minnesota Fury AAU program.

Welcome and congrats to her!

A few links I could find regarding her:

An article after her team (which went on and won the 4A State Championship last season) defeated the #1 ranked team in the state (and evidently #1 in the nation at that time per ESPNW) in the state semi-finals, ending that team's 78 game winning streak - https://www.mngirlsbasketballhub.com/news_article/show/1156483
(Per the article, Ms. Sanders scored 21 and added 6 assists in the game.)

ESPN ranked her team #6 nationally at the end of last season per https://www.espn.com/womens-college...-high-school-top-25-girls-basketball-rankings .

Not much info on it, but her prospectsnation page - https://prospectsnation.com/player/kennedy-sanders#bio

A 6'3" C/F from Bridgeport HS, Bridgeport Nebr. looks to have been offered.

(Per the most current page referencing her I could find (a Rivals page looking at who the Iowa Hawkeyes might be interested in (https://iowa.forums.rivals.com/threads/where-iowa-wbb-stands-with-the-2023-class.388939/)), they haven't offered her yet, but she does hold offers from "Kansas State, UMKC, Wichita State, Utah State, Colorado State, Oklahoma State, Omaha".)

An article with more on Ms. Loomis-Goltl (other offers, HS stats, etc.). She looks to be a 6'3" C/PF, and is from and plays HS ball in Bridgeport, Nebraska.

Also, I'm always a fan of multi-sport athletes, and per https://starherald.com/sports/local...cle_cd230a64-e8f8-5363-8249-a4a29ff29262.html she was named her conference meet's track and field female MVP after winning both the high jump and discus in last week's meet.

The Buffs seem to be heavily active in Sweden right now, as the below is the 3rd straight offer by WBB to a Swede (the other 2 being 2024's) I've found.

(As is common with foreign players, hard to find much info on her, or even to confirm this offer.)

On the Twitter account of Tim Hays, he has retweeted the above and I think one other offer in Sweden.
Overall I think these are the offers so far on the Swedish front:
Lovisa Asbrink Hose - 6'6 F/C
Tilda Trygger - 6'5 SF
Helena Axelsson 6’2 G
Lova Lagerlid - 6'1 SG

Per the below tweet, the Buffs have at some point offered this 5-'11"-6'0" student-athlete who currently attends and plays for St. Bernard's HS in Eureka, California.

HS stats (only showing for 2019/20 season so far) - https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/saulele-tanuvasa/B-r0ChS3EeqAzqREozo6lw/girls-basketball/stats.htm

I wouldn't mind a Swiss Army Knife player on the roster. Versatility helps so much with chemistry within rotations even if other players have very defined role skill sets.

Welcome and congrats to her!

Looks like the team has picked up its 4th 2023 commitment in 6'1" SG/ PG & SF (the latter per the article linked to below) Jadyn Atchison, who attends and plays with Cedar Hill HS in Cedar Hill, Texas. She also looks to play club ball with Nike Proskills, which appears to be out of Frisco, TX.

Welcome and congrats to her!

Texas ranking (No idea of its validity, but she's ranked #15 here ) - https://premierbasketballreport.com/2023

Looks like the team may have offered this 6'0"-6'1" guard from Anchorage, who attends and plays for Bartlett High School, while playing her club ball with Alaska Select.

Looks like Ms. Johnson has committed to the Buffs. I'm sure there may have been one or two in CU history, but she's the 1st Alaskan I know of who will become a Buff (in ANY sport?). (I'm busy tomorrow, but hope to create a separate thread for her within the next day or two.)

Welcome and congrats to her!

Drawing a blank on the name but football had the Alaskan Assassin.

All 5 2023 verbal commitments known about so far in this thread (Sanders, Loomis-Goltl, Tanuvasa, Atchison and Johnson) have already evidently formally signed on to become Buffaloes pretty early on this 1st day of the early signing period!
(I put the formal welcome tweets from Buff's WBB in their individual threads.)

A 6'4" C/F from Aberdeen, South Dakota.

From a Syracuse fan forum I found, her previous offers Include/ are "Black Hills St, U of Omaha Nebraska, Missouri Kansas City, Central Arkansas, BYU, LIU, Arkansas St, Army, Queens U of Charlotte, Morgan St, Utah St, Louisville, Butler, Arizona St, UNLV, Liberty, Syracuse".
