'26 Anthony Brown just committed to Vandy, after Tad's late offer to him. Brown was dual elite scorer and playmaker. So may show Tad's not seeing passing & playmaking from Sanders and Johnson that he may want? Or just that Johnson showing such good space creating that he's looking like small ball microwave scorer? Johnson did average 5 assists ga/me in HS. But Tad may keep looking for elite pllay-making PtG?

CU's multiple interest in elite '26 SF, PF & F/Cs didn't pan out (besides Portela's D-Stopper, Slasher, w/ enough 3 pt to keep spacing), but CU already showing interest in a few similar kinds of players. So assuming Tad focuses on finding some studs to replace Dak & Rancik, especially if Tad loses either of them early? But Alon looking like good start to needed depth for inside/out W/Fs? 1 3/4ComboF & 1 PF/C in '27 or '28?

CSU starting to recruit the high end in state recruits getting Howery and Fiedler in back to back classes. Howery was on campus with Christian Williams on visit.
Feel like Colorado is starting to stack in state classes with D1 talent like never before:
26: Drew Paine- Northern Colorado, Fiedler, Oliver Junker North Dakota State, Madden Smiley- Wyoming, Franck Belibi - Pacific, If you count the Placide Twins to Wake Forest, Jeremiah Hammond has D1 offers, Carter Basquez has been on scene for a while among others, Kade Speckman has D1 offers.
The 27 in state class with Howery, Williams, Weatherspoon, Aiden Wanrow, Jacob David
28 with Marcelus Duncan, Dyson Boykin (Rohn already checked in), Kayden Patrick, Demetrius Lambert
Think Colorado is starting to consistently produce D1 talent year in and year out which is cool.

I like '27 Aiden Wanrow the most for CU of Colorado locals above: fills needs at F, has Versatile/All Around Game/D/Rbding/ Leader. #188 on Rivals/On3 now, but feels like intangibles moves him to top-150- at least? Seems has early interest in N Colorado; close to home of Brighton?

Gotta give BuffsBball member props: I really had no idea how good Marcelo’s Duncan is: standout at US camp this past weekend, 90 total guys & 37 in his ‘28 class! Lists himself as PF/Wing on X-Twitter. May need to grow a couple inches to play PF, & may be out of Buffs range as top 20-50 guy? Analysis as Elite 2-Way/Strong to the hoop slasher:
