At the end of the day, it's all about building relationships and being honest with guys," Embree said. "I can tell you right now that there is not another coach in college football who can develop guys and prepare guys for the next level like I can. I'm in it to get guys ready to play on Sundays."

@ChaseSI has an article up on SI.com about the recruitment and commitment too: https://www.si.com/college/colorado/recruiting/cu-buffs-land-four-star-erik-olsen

This is a big deal, it’s huge we beat out these schools. It’s an even bigger deal that it was done by a young coach that has never recruited before, that’s a very good sign.

“Olsen narrowed his double-digit options down to Washington, Stanford, Notre Dame, UCLA and Colorado before making his final decision.”
