'21 TX QB Jalen Kitna (Signed to Florida)

Read the complaint. The material is not pix of 17 year-old girls taking naked selfies.
If that is the situation then hit him with the appropriate consequences and get him off the streets and where his actions can't hurt anyone or promote hurting anyone.

The emotional damage that is done to the victims of this stuff justifies significant steps to make sure that others don't become victims as well.

DO NOT READ THE ARTICLE. It is R Kelly bad.
Followed the links in the article and you are correct. This is not slap on the hand type of stuff.

Because of the nature of the school I worked in I had some students who had been victims of this kind of thing. The damage goes deep.

Also some quotes from him that "He tried to stay away from this stuff" and he "thought it was legal because it was on the web." Tell me that he knew what he was doing, it wasn't an isolated instance, and that he has some real problems.

Yeah that’s not normal. And he admitted to it. Get him out.

Guy must have had a helluva lawyer.

In (much) funnier news, his dad caught a stray bullet from Corey Dillon when he was discussing the Bengals Ring of Honor the other day:

In his recent interview, Dillon said he didn't believe he would be recognized by his former club any time soon.

"I'm pretty sure they will put f---ing Jon Kitna in there before they put me," Dillon told The Athletic.

That's just...perfect

I can't imagine anyone giving this kid a shot. sick puppy here.
I wouldn't go that far. Obviously it hasn't been revealed how old the girls in the photos were, and I'm obviously not giving him a pass, and I wouldn't offer him, but I think calling him a sick puppy is a huge reach. There was apparently enough reason to believe the girls could have been of legal age.

I hate typing that.

Prior reporting from ESPN last year describing the nature of the offense:

Was disgusted by this when it came out and am disgusted again.

No, I don't want him living in my neighborhood now or any time in the future.

If this kid is given an opportunity to play and he's able to prove he's good enough for the NFL. No NFL team will touch him. Having said that, I hope his playing days are over.

We think that but then look at Big Ben, look at Deshaun Watson, etc. etc.

If a guy can win you games there are NFL franchises willing to give you a chance.

Colleges might be less willing. He could end up down a level as we've seen with others.

I think pedophilia is looked at differently than sexual assault/rape. NFL and colleges have shown us time and time again that they are willing to take there chances with the latter. Whereas no one wants anything to do with a pedophile.

Agree with you as to the way people look at it but point is that if a QB can win games for you a lot of fans will find some way to justify it in their own minds and excuse a lot of behavior.

The Sandusky thing at Penn State may have been one of the worst things to ever come out in college sports and the evidence showed very clearly (in court) that Paterno either knew or should have known what was going on and that he not only denied it but actively intervened to attempt to cover it up fearing the damage it would do to the image of his football program.

Despite this thousands (tens of thousands) of Penn State fans rose to his defense.

We have all seen Cornhusker fans, the same ones who wanted Lawrence Phillips back on the field. How do you think they would react if some images of naked young girls on a phone stood between them and a QB who could lead them to a conference championship game?

I acknowledge that technically "prepubescent" isn't an age, but c'mon...

Fans may have come to his defense and some still do, probably. But does Penn State or the NCAA recognize he was even there?

My point is with stigma of pedophilia, I would be shocked if a power 5 team or the NFL would touch this kid even if he had Caleb Williams type talent. It's all speculation but I'll be following this to see if he lands somewhere.

Wow. Imissed this comment. I'm guessing you didn't read or remember the articles that have been written about this. As UK mentioned the pictures were of pre- pubescent girls and that narrows the age down just fine for me.

Also, if you want to jerk off you just type in pornhub in your browser. You don't go to some secret dark web type site to do it.

Let’s be real amateur content is so much better than professional content on PH.

Listen...a judge, prosecutors, etc. have all seen the evidence (pictures). We don't know what they actually show, nor do we want to, but if they were highly problematic, I don't think he'd get two minor charges.

As I said though, I don't want him, and I don't think anyone else will either, and he's lucky his dad has money because he's going to have this stigma surrounding him the rest of his life, which is going to be punishment enough, as it's definitely, maybe rightly so, going to limit his opportunities.

Also obviously yet to be seen if this is just a case of stupidity or a symptom of him actually having an issue.

His opportunities should be limited.

He may not end up on the registry but if he thinks it's okay to have images of underage girls and he has a desire to have those images then he shouldn't ever be in a position that puts him in proximity to children.

All of the information given to us by our district psychologist and other experts says that these kinds of thoughts and urges don't "go away," and we don't have the ability to "fix them."

If somehow he is allowed to have this kind of contact with kids and he acts on urges towards them the potential for damage to the kids is far to great.
