Welcome to the Buffs Mr. Smith!
I hope you are the "X" Factor that helps us back into prominence

He looks like a raw stud with amazing strides and speed! Turley gonna make him a beast with his frame

This is a reach, but it feels like an Isaiah Oliver kind of reach that could really pay off

Hope you are right, it's not impossible I suppose.

Speed and good length for the position. I guess he broke his leg as a senior, which hurt his recruiting and rating.

I support taking a couple 2* guys like this a cycle. Good student, so smart along with having the measurables & a reason for why he was under recruited. Good risk.

Welcome!

We play Georgia Tech at home in 2025 and out there in 2026 if these Peach state guys are still around.

Interesting article over on the Rivals site about how this past season was Smith’s first playing defense (he’d been a QB previously). Wonder if that contributed to him being a bit under the radar.

Well, that would certainly be a factor!

So he was primarily a QB throughout HS and then got hurt this year when he was playing DB? That would explain the lack of offers, and assuming his athleticism fits the profile, I don't mind CU taking a chance on a guy like this.
