As of right now he’s visiting Michigan this weekend.

Last OV window as well so this seems unlikely
I think they can visit next weekend and coaches can have contact as long as they are on campus. Obviously that doesn’t leave a ton of time with Prime coaching Saturday, but maybe they’re able to have him come in Saturday night and hang out Sunday?

Either way, a poster on 247 who lives in Lincoln said that his mom supposedly hated Brewster (which I find a little odd) and is die hard Husker, so it’s unlikely. Tifwiw

Kinda funny that he only follows 10 people on Twitter and the only Nebraska related one is their star WR transfer who is turning pro. And then he follows Coach Prime.

My understanding is his whole family loves the Huskers but despite that, it took him a really long time to commit to them. And he only did so when it looked like Mickey Joseph might get a real shot at becoming HC. Then when the situation with Mickey Joseph happened, he decommitted and wanted to look around. No intel on if we have a real shot but it does seem like he at least wants out lol.

Also a true ATH. I thought for sure he was set on playing WR in college given he works with Mike Riley’s former WR coach in the offseason but it does sound like there’s some interest in being an edge rusher.

Adam Gorney provided some intel on Coach Prime’s recruiting so far from what he’s hearing. Not behind a paywall.

Most of it was just some options he’s hearing and what he’d like to see but he did offer this:

Malachi Coleman: There seems to be significant legs to this one and Colorado should be considered one of the favorites in his recruitment now. Many other schools are involved and new Nebraska coach Matt Rhuleis trying to get the Lincoln (Neb.) East standout back in the loop but the Buffaloes should definitely be watched.

He also writes: “The Buffaloes have not had a winning season since 2016. Sixteen of their last 17 seasons have been losing ones. It’s been ugly there.”

I may have been zoned out somewhat, but we did have a winning record in 2020, shortened as it was, didn’t we? Yes. It’s has been ugly, no doubt, though.
