This kid before the NC game probably been the most consistent JSU player in the last two years than anyone else including all world James Houston who's killing it in the NFL right now. Box to Box safety. Top tier grade on PFF. Always shines on tape. My only fear is how will he translate when he plays in a more passing league and I said this before the NC game. That said, he's the most consistent player on JSU period and man is he all over the field making plays. He's the definition of dawg.

Not the most exciting pickup from JSU from a measurements stance but might be your favorite pickup when the games start. Key words for Cam: Productivity, Dawg, Energy, attitude, and discipline.

I remember him getting wrecked in the title game but that's just one game. he sounds like a guy we need in this locker room.

He stunk it up against NC Central. By far the worst game I've watched of his.
Was it a case of a guy who’d played against inferior competition all season going against equal or superior competition or a case of a guy just not playing up to his standard?

What I saw was a safety who was trying to compensate for a front 7 that was getting overwhelmed in the run game so was getting caught out of position in the pass game and even ending up in a bad angle for run support. Similar to some of the times Trevor Woods looked bad for CU this past season. It's always bad when a safety isn't trusting his teammates and is trying to do more than his job.

Safety is a heck of a spatially confusing position, which relies on an understanding/sense of what’s going to happen, trusting your visual keys and your teammates. I would guess that position is one of the worst ones to try to play when you feel you have to look out for teammate mistakes in front of you. Everything would just feel like chaos.

6 rotational DLs out including the two best by a mile, Tru Thompson and Nyles Gaddy. This had LBs and DBs looking foolish. I spoke about it in the Celebration Bowl thread.

He tend to step up to the occasion compare to the others regardless of who JSU is playing.

Colorado the past few seasons has had a distinct lack of talent, we are seeing Prime address that issue.

Just as large an issue if not larger has been the acceptance that has permeated the team of accepting losing, of expecting losing, and of being okay with losing.

The coaches will do their part in changing that but having players like this one in the drills, the huddle, the position room, the locker room will be a big part of changing that attitude.

Watching the Celebration Bowl, it wasn't hard to see them getting their ass whipped up front. I had no idea they were missing that many dlinemen at the same time. It showed.
