This is the type of recruit who allows you to punch with the elites. The difference between the 1st tier that's in the hunt every year and all the really good programs that may flash is the trenches. For example, I'd put this year's CU skill guys and secondary up against anyone's and don't think we'd ever be more than a slight underdog in a 7v7 game. But it would take a significant outlier performance for CU to beat a program like tOSU or UGA in an 11v11 game. Gap is closing, though, and recruits like this will be what takes us to that level.
