On College Gameday today the panel was recapping their favorite memories from the Orange Bowl.

Fowler said something like this. I'm paraphrasing.

"For me, it was when CU took down Notre Dame for a share of the national title. I was just 5 years removed from graduation and still a big CU fan. Since then though we've had a bit of a falling out."

What's up with this?

What happened between these two?

No idea. Last I checked, he was still shown in the media guide as an "Alumnus of note", unlike that uber-douche pRick Reilly. Maybe Dick Tharp pissed in his wheaties.

I don't think he meant that he has had a falling out but that the program is not on the national scene as it once was, although this is only a temporary condition.
 
I saw it but I missed the comment at the end about the falling out. Maybe it's simply a matter of what BeachBronco pointed out. Hope that's all it is.
