That's terrible, and I believe largely explains how CU was surprisingly able to compete yesterday. After the game, their coach said the “air came out of the balloon” at the time of the injury.

Ok, it was kind of a hard foul but I've seen way worse. I've never seen a coach eject his own player, sit them sure, not that. I doubt he's gonna be your player very long because that had to be embarrassing.
If he's gone, somebody is going to be very happy about their new coach.
I saw Ceal Barry eject her own player. She smacked another player in the face. While the officials were talking, Ceal sent her to the locker room. I'm sure she did it because she knew the officials were going to do it, which was what happened.

His first HC job was UCLA. Sweet 16 his first year, then never made it again the rest of his time there or in his years after it at St. John's. Didn't win with the Toreros. Really disappointing career.
IMO, that easily falls into the "criticizing officials" category regardless of whether or not he is right.

Those mid 80s Pitt teams with Charles Smith and Jerome Lane were some of my favorites. Lane's one of those guys whose game just couldn't translate to the NBA (PF with the height of a Wing). Zach Ruebesam, Buff alum and former Boyle staffer (student manager, then manager), doing well as HC at Pueblo.
@RumblinBuff watched them when they were playing in Denver a few weeks ago.
That I did. Saw them in Lakewood against CCU. Led most of the way, and ground out a win in a tough environment. Good, physical game.
They're a fun group! They won all 3 games of their Denver swing, too. I have no doubt he'll get a small D1 job in the near future.
Small update -- Pueblo swept their final 8 games to finish in a 3-way tie for 2nd in the RMAC.
They open the conference tournament Tuesday night against Mines.
