I found this at the bottom of an article on Buffzone. Not sure what publication this quote is from but pretty comicle if this really is what they think.



"In the North, Colorado is the best at losing. They finished 2-10 last season, got beat by a Division IAA team that then lost to a Division II team. Things aren’t likely to improve much this season, although they’ll win more than two games.
The liberal influence around Boulder tends to suck the brains out of coaches who go there. They care a lot more about losing but find themselves unable to do much about it. Instead of practicing football, they go paintballing. Then they visualize themselves playing well. Then they lose again. It's too bad, really, because I like Dan Hawkins."

Doesn't look like much respect coming out of Lincoln this year. Maybe Hawkins can do something about that..


WTF? I DON'T THINK THEY CARE MUCH ANYWAY? I THINK IT'S MUCH MORE FUN PUMMELING THEM WHEN THEY'RE GOOD? AS I RECALL WHEN WE'RE GOOD WE ****ING POUND THE **** OUT OF YOU 62-36!!!!

I see at the bottom of those articles on occasion there is a poster named footballguru who HATES Hawkins and is in love with GB. You guys ever see that?

If I were this guy, I'd be more worried about why my team was tied late in the game, at home, against a team that sucks this bad, in spite of pulling off several trick plays...:huh:

Actually, that's not quite true. If I were this guy, I would probably be too busy committing hari kari with a dull butter knife to worry about any such thing... :lol:

Ya. I think the guy used to go by Dr. Tom. His posts are usually pretty comical.
 
What is her motivation? Half of me thinks she is Hooligan...but I don't think a chick would have that kind of game and staying power...

Her motivation is this. She loved GB. Was very visible in her defense of GB and the team (top shelf). Developed a real fondness of BJ (dont read anything into that). When GB got booted, she lost it. Now CU is evil. DH is evil. They took BJ number. They are all evil. We will never be as good as GB led teams. We suck.

Thought she was hooligan for a spot , too. :huh:

It's not so much that it was the highlight of the CU program, as much as the fact that it was such a lowlight for the fuskers, that makes it fun to keep talking about... :smile2:

Bingo! That game ruined Nebraska football and as much as fusker fans think they're back, they're still mediocre.
