Fire Prime

Roster completely mismanaged
Horrible staffing decisions
Team is unprepared
Team is undisciplined
Half the team has quit

He doesn't seem to know what's wrong or how to fix it.

I assume this thread is sarcasm because you know this won't happen. Having said that, everything you said above is true.

Same quit this year that we saw in embrees 2d year.
Realistically, the only way Prime isn't the HC in 2026 is if he chooses not to be.

So...

- he needs to fire Shurmur
- he needs to fire Livingston
- he needs to fire Hart
- he needs to overhaul the roster with about 20 transfers and 25 prep recruits
- he needs to change how he manages his staff and the authority he gives to coordinators
- he needs to take a more active and personal role in recruiting

Complete overhaul.

His post-game presser gave me some confidence that he is going to overhaul and is committed to fixing this mess.

All the stuff with what led to Lanning and others calling this program out for "playing for clicks" has never bothered me. If a team DJ and all the rest attracts talent, makes CU an awesome experience, and we win... I couldn't be happier. The problem I'm seeing is that it's become about the personal money and spotlight too often instead of that being the reward for the grind and having success after paying the price.

We can keep all that stuff. We should. But we can't be so mercenary in our roster building if it's going to work.

Dude. Prime is/was the draw not the DJ.

I would add, having 3 OL coaches is a circus (the OL is regressing) and whoever the DE coach is should be fired (teams are pushing our edges inside, clearing holes for RB's and WR's to pick up huge chunks plays all season

Are you saying that he's enough and he shouldn't do that stuff?
No I'm saying that if you dump him you dump the rest. He definitely needs to do that stuff as that's what he is all about. He's a hype machine and that's okay, but it's fading quickly. it's hard to hype up what's going on right now.

Just hoping that Prime going through a life changing cancer diagnosis and treatment lead to complete roster mismanagement and program breakdown.

Next year will be very interesting to see if he can learn from the myriad of mistakes that have been made.

His inability to act earlier placed him in this situation. If he gave the hook to Shurmur, Hart and started Juju during the bye week, results may be different. Now, he has to act, or find himself with an AD fired and a CU administration searching for funds to get rid of Deion. I think he is now forced to act or risk getting exposed via being fired. Sure the Screaming A Smith's of the world wpuld admonish CU but football know Deion is in over his head.

Ok. But I said I don't have a problem with that stuff. I just think we look like a clown show when we do that stuff while getting destroyed on the field. We need a different culture in order to support that stuff in order for it to be a big positive.

Who says RG is getting fired ?

Here's an idea-why not go after Ed Orgeron as DL/AHC/RC?

He can recruit, and he's been successful at this level.....which is something nobody on this staff can say. He also has made no secret of the fact that he wants back in. Having a wise old man type of assistant (he does have a national championship ring) on staff could help this whole operation.
