Folsom Field at Westerra Stadium?

Two things: 1) credit unions are "non-profit" in name only. Believe me, they are profit motivated. 2) A billion in assets is chicken feed. Elevations is bigger - a lot bigger. Bellco is bigger- a whole lot bigger.

A billion in assets makes it one of Colorados largest but still far from the top (ENT is over $4 billion) http://credituniondirectory.net/Colorado-credit-unions.html

Also San Diego County Credit Union sponsors the Poinsettia Bowl. Don't know how much their investment is but it is probably an amount that would be at least interesting to CU.

I would tend to think the figure would have to be in excess of $1MM/ year for it to be of much interest.
Standard ROA for a banking institution is 1%. That would mean this credit union would be shelling out 10% of its profits for one advertisising opportunity.

I would probably agree with that with low exposure that CU football gets. Comparatively, Sports Authority pays somewhere in the neighborhood of $6mm/year for the naming rights on Mile High.

I would guess that Westerra would want a much larger presence in the CU system and education/medical campuses within a stadium deal. I don't see the numbers working on stadium alone based on my limited knowledge and what you've told us. It seems to make sense if it's an aspect of a larger deal, though.

Westerra's logo and Folsom Field look like a good fit. That could mean we would get atms where as a credit union member, you wouldn't have to worry about paying atm fees. That would be easier to shell out cash for food & drinks and shop the CU merchandise store. (is it open yet?)

Unless they are planning a merger with Elevations, I don't see that happening. Elevations is the old CU Credit Union.

I personally liked the Muscle Pharm advertising that was going on over the summer at FF. I thought a partnership with them would have awesome, especially with MP being founded locally.

Give us all the monies.

FF@WS sounds good enough. The logo works well. I say make it happen.

Wouldn't you like to know the amount of the deal first?

THAT is some faith in Rick George.

For all we know, a Westerra senior VP was hosting a conference function on the party deck and just bought stadium naming rights on the videoboard by the hour.

Even if it the scenario is as you described, good for CU. more money please.

University of Houston added a credit union as the stadium sponsor in 2014. Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU).

Are you guys just photo shopping random companies now?

Rep to the funniest shop job... oh wait. never mind.

they are trying to sell sponsorships and are showing interested parties All available options for those sponsorships. Its a pretty common tactic in sports sales.
