Buff lacrosse (0-2, 0-0) hopes to take advantage of some home cooking as they are scheduled to play their 1st home game of the year versus local rival and #14 ranked Denver (0-0, 0-0), who hasn't played a game yet. (They had an exhibition scheduled last weekend against Regis that was cancelled.)

BOULDER — Colorado lacrosse opens its 2021 home slate, and a five-game homestand, on Sunday, February 28, by hosting in-state rival No. 14 Denver. Opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Kittredge Field.
The Buffaloes are 0-2 after starting the season with a pair of losses on the road. They fell in the season-opener, 12-9, to Louisville on Feb. 18, before suffering an overtime loss (11-10) to Vanderbilt on Feb. 21. They are looking to get back on track, and Kittredge Field is just the place to do it. CU owns a 37-10 (.787) all-time record there and is 5-2 in its home openers.
