The RV (Receiving votes in a Top 25 poll) Buffs (17-7, 11-6, #22 in the NET rankings) are scheduled to finish the originally scheduled*** part of their regular season as they host the 2 top teams in the Pac 12 standings, the #18/19 ranked USC Trojans (19-4, 13-3, #14 NET) tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM MT, and then the (RV) UCLA Bruins (16-5,12-3, #41 NET) on Saturday at 8:00 PM MT.
(***A home replacement game against ASU has recently been added to the schedule for March 4th to replace an earlier one that was postponed due to Covid-19 issues within the ASU team earlier in the month.)

TV coverage for both games is scheduled to be on ESPN2.

Go Buffs!!!

(Cubuffs.com preview still not available as I type this.)

Live video - Both Games
are scheduled to be shown on ESPN2. For those whose Cable/ Satellite/ Cord Cutting subscription includes access to any of that channel, assume the games can also be streamed through a link at https://www.espn.com/watch/ .

Live stats (For both games) - https://admin.cubuffs.com/sidearmstats/mbball/summary . I only briefly checked it out once early in the season, but there is also what I believe is a webcam-like offering showing the radio announcers broadcast AND live stats at https://cubuffs.com/buffsview/mbball/second-screen .

A couple other things-
As I noted in the OP, there (surprisingly) isn't any game preview available at cubuffs.com for tomorrow's game. However, Buffzone does have one for those interested-

______________________________________________________________________

And, especially in these pandemic times, always great to get confirmation the opponent has made it to Colorado-

In the Buffzone article linked to above, did want to quote that it includes in the notes section -
"Boyle on Wednesday did not rule out a return to action by freshman forward Jabari Walker. “He’s day to day. He’s been going at practice a little bit,” Boyle said. “We’ll see how he feels (Thursday). Hopefully we’ll have him, but nothing’s for certain.” Walker has missed the past six games due to a foot injury"

is anyone else not seeing this game listed in their guide for ESPN2 tonight?

ESPN confirms what @AztecBuff posted above, but my guide shows the tOSU/MSU game in that slot (which is supposed to be on ESPN). that B1G games is also showing on my guide for ESPN, so I'm hoping this is just a mistake.

I have AT&T and it's showing ESPN2

Cubuffs.com preview now out - https://cubuffs.com/news/2021/2/25/mens-basketball-buffs-host-trojans-in-crucial-pac-12-battle.aspx
(Note- at the end, they're saying Saturday's UCLA game is on EITHER ESPN2 or ESPNU, but their schedule still only lists ESPN2, so I won't change the info on the thread title or OP right now.)

BOULDER — In order to be the best, you have to beat the best.

Tad Boyle's Colorado Buffaloes (17-7 overall, 11-6 Pac-12) will have a chance to beat the team with the best record in the Pac-12 on Thursday when they host the 19th-ranked USC Trojans (19-4, 13-3) in a 7 p.m. (MT) matchup at the CU Events Center (ESPN2).

Colorado will be facing a Trojan team that has been red hot, winning eight of its last nine and 14 of its last 16 games, including a dominating 72-58 win over Oregon on Monday night.

It seems like an eternity since the Buffaloes defeated the Trojans in a decisive 72-62 road win on Dec. 31, and Boyle and the Buffaloes know USC is a very different team now.

"We had great energy and effort that night," Boyle said. "They have some young guys and some new guys to our conference that maybe didn't know what to expect and we punched them in the mouth a little bit and they didn't quite react. But since then the improvement that USC has made has been dramatic."

Indeed USC has improved. The Trojans lead the conference with a +11.6 scoring margin and have been shooting lights out from 3-point range the past three games, shooting 45.9 percent (28-for-61).
...

THE SERIES: Colorado leads the all-time series 14-7 and has won the past five matchups. The Buffs also hold a 7-2 edge in Boulder.

NATIONAL RANKINGS: A win over USC will certainly strengthen the Buffs' NCAA tournament resume. Colorado is ranked No. 24 in the NET rankings and USC is the only Pac-12 team ranked higher at 14. In the KenPom.com rankings, Colorado is sitting at 21 while USC is at 12.

BROADCAST: The game will be televised on ESPN2 with Roxy Berstein and Adrian Branch. KOA 850 AM and 94.1 FM will carry the radio broadcast with Mark Johnson and Scott Wilke.

UP NEXT: The Buffs will host UCLA on Saturday at 8 p.m. (MT, ESPN2 or ESPNU) before finishing the regular season at home Arizona State on March 4. Game time is TBD.

Buffs now -3.5, one place -4.5. Unless Walker is 100%, or they've got someone out, that seems like a lot. Even then, with much less homecourt advantage, I see this as a 'pick'. Which team shows up.

That does seem high.

I, forgive me lou, checked that other board to see if there was any news on Walker, and found this happy news:

Re the Branch v. Walton discussion ... I love Bill when he's calling a game in which I have minimal interest. I hate it when he does CU games and he goes off one of his several tangents on everything but the actual game ... especially when the game is close and there's actual game action going on.

Branch is annoying, and laughs at his own "jokes." But at least for the most part he keeps up with the game action ... instead of quoting Grateful Dead lyrics (although I love the Dead) or throwing out random endorsements of Pasta Jays, or otherwise talking about anything but the game. In short, for Buffs games I prefer Branch, as annoying as he might be.

And that's all I have to say about that.
