Colorado's sorta introduction to the Pac-10 isn't going well at California. Cal is dominating 31-0 at halftime, in large part because the Buffaloes have been sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.

And Cal has*looked sharp on both sides of the ball. And special teams.

Colorado?

When Cal took a 24-0 lead with 10:30 left in the second, it had outgained the Buffaloes 152 to minus-1 and had 10 firsts to just one for Colorado. The Bears began four of their first five drives in Buffaloes territory.

Colorado had a first and goal on Cal's 3-yard line late in the second quarter.*It ended up missing a 42-yard field goal on fourth and goal from the 25.

The Buffaloes*got the ball back with a minute left before the half. They threw a pick-six to Mike Mohamed.

The Buffaloes had eight penalties for 67 yards in the first half. They had*85 total yards.

That new Cal pressure D? Four sacks and three forced turnovers.

Now the question is whether the Bears stay hungry and focused and try to pile it on or whether Colorado comes out in the second half and fights back.
