I'll share my observations about why you're receiving hate:

-Your disdain for Coach Prime (couched as an opinion) comes across as personal. Like maybe he ****ed your wife or something. That may not be your intention, but - at least for me - that's how it feels.

-You didn't share anything that hasn't already been discussed on this board. The reaction you're getting has nothing to do with your opinions - a lot of people here share them to some degree.

-Did this really need a new ****ing thread? If only there were other threads in which we could discuss Coach Prime, his performance, the team's performance and coaching staff.

Been following the man since his first year at JSU. I actually like him and wish to see him win a NC. I have high hoops of greatness from him but watching him blow his big chance when I thought he could be a lot better, upsets me and I have no problem calling him out, no matter how much I root for him. Doesn't matter if someone else said it, I can still say it too. How stupid is that, to say someone already said it so another person is not allowed to say it. And the funny thing is no one told me I'm why I'm wrong they just insulted me. God forbid another new poster join this board and gives an opinion that has already been said.

You gatekeepers should pin a post to the top of the board stating that new members aren't allowed to make new threads because all opinions have already been posted and you will be frowned upon for repeating any of them.

I wasn't suggesting you shouldn't repeat opinions that had already been shared. I was simply pointing that the negative reaction you received wasn't about the content of your opinions (as you were claiming was the case in your special victimy way) Again, I wasn't trying to suggest that it wasn't permissible to repeat opinions and talking points. I was simply observing that your opinions weren't that misaligned with many other posters.

But you misunderstood my point, and then managed to claim victimhood in your misunderstanding.

I'll ask the question I asked above: Are you always the victim in your narratives?

Funny you say that. Yesterday, I thought about making that suggestion (jokingly) in this thread. Along the lines of: New posters should have to wait 3 months before creating new threads.
