Is anybody from here going to the game?

My family and I will be there, we are renting a 40 foot motorhome and tailgating. Look for the CU flag flying by the motorhome with Texas plates. Any ideas of what to do in Shreveport besides gambling.
 
I'll be there along with the entire band. If we have some free time before the game I'd stop by a tailgate. Unofficially of course.

In the post from the director of the Independence Bowl, he said that they had some special arrangements set up for Ralphie. So yes, I believe Ralphie will be making the trip. :thumbsup:

Just got 1 this time around. We are getting back from Xmas in Colorado late on the 29th.

I am hoping to take the Buff Bus, but I last I heard they maybe leaving on the 29th instead of the 30th. If they leave of the 29th, I am not sure I will make it, which is why I only got one ticket. I figure worse case I can give me ticket to someone once they iron down the bus dates.

When you take into consideration you only have to go east and I have to go west you will understand why it is so much harder to get there. The prevailing wind are always from the west to east.:sad2:

Who cares if you get back. Just getting there is all that is important.

and yes, the price of wheat is just like ducks when they fly. The higher the fewer.

there are a few health issues that are valid. if you require multiple machineries to keep you breathing and your heart pumping, you have an excuse.

if that is you, i will step off.

otherwise, i will suggest that you take some bonding time with one of the youngans to watch the game. either that or i can convince bama charlie to grab ya on the way in.

175 miles is a mere day trip. :smile2:
