PALO ALTO, Calif. — In the immediate wake of Thursday's 76-62 loss at Cal, Colorado coach Tad Boyle was in no mood to discuss possible Pac-12 tournament scenarios.

Boyle was much more concerned about Sunday's game at Stanford (4 p.m., ESPNU), where the 21-8 Buffaloes (10-6 Pac-12) will attempt to halt a two-game losing streak.

"I just want to win the next game," Boyle said. "That's me. You just gotta win the next game. You can't worry about all that other stuff. We could be playing on Wednesday night (in the tournament) again. But it's not about that, it's about winning the next game and we have two more to get."

Indeed, the Buffs have two more regular season games remaining — at Stanford and a March 7 date at Utah — before the March 11-14 conference tournament in Las Vegas.

Is it likely to have a large contingent of Buff Fans at this one? My wife and I are going and grabbing a beer or two in town before hand - thinking the Rose and Crown.

Knowing the dynamics of this team, they win this one and probably handily.
This would be a great time to confirm your assertion. The frustrating thing is that they seem to be able to win if they want to. Defense is largely effort.

I think McCartney used to say sports performance is 3 to 1, mental to physical. This team's showing that's true.

This is a "must win" game. As is the Utes game next weekend. The guys really need to have a hair up their ass for these games after the Cal debacle.

I can't recall a Tad coached team regress like this team has. His teams usually get better as the season goes, the defensive lapses were the last thing i expected from this team.

The year Dinwittie went down with a knee injury comes to mind, that was understandable.

Have to be honest, if this team can't play with effort I don't want them anywhere near the tournament. No need to see a uconn repeat.

I bumped this up because we're watching it happen. We could reverse things, but
