There are only 3 regular season matches, all on the road, left for he SOCCER team (7-6-3, 2-3-3), with 2 of those weekend in the desert. 1st off is a battle with the Sun Devils (8-7-2, 0-6-2) tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon, followed up with a Sunday matinee against the Wildcats (3-12-0, 0-8-0).
(Looking at RPI, the Buffs are a decent #37 after last week's good results, but with the Arizona schools being at #77 and 186, good results are probably needed again this week to give them a decent chance to make the tourney.)

Thursday's match is scheduled for the Pac 12 Networks, while Sunday's is on a free live stream.

Go Buffs!

"
Colorado defender Haileigh Adams and the Buffaloes' three other departing seniors' journey through college has almost reached its conclusion. The Buffs have three regular-season matches remaining this season, but for Adams, the path to get here has been a long and winding trip.
...

Colorado takes on Arizona State on Thursday (6 p.m. MT) on the Pac-12 Network. The Buffs will then close out the weekend in Tucson, battling Arizona on Sunday (1 p.m. MT)

Buffs going to have to play catch-up as ASU earns and converts a penalty kick in the 5th minute.

Buffs TIE it up in the 14th 15th minute with a shot (probably intended to be a cross) from the DEEP corner by Chapa!

ASU back up (in the 27th minute) with a solid bender from the top of the box that finds the top right corner; it's 1-2.

1-2 is the halftime score. A nice flowing match with the Buffs (and sun devils) having many good-great opportunities, so CU should definitely have opportunities to comeback in the 2nd.

Highlight of the Buff goal -

James uses her strength and agility to tie it up in the 62nd minute!

Still tied in the 68th minute.

Highlight of the goal-

The referee awards a tough (and questionable to my admittedly ignorant of soccer eyes) handball penalty kick to ASU, and asu converts to go up 2-3 in the 77th minute. (CU bench/ coach(es) awarded a yellow card arguing after the fact.)

Buffs with a HUGE 3 points to keep their post-season hopes hopefully alive!!!
(Be interesting to see where the RPI stands when they're released in a day or two after the Buffs "only" go 1-1 against the relatively low (for the Pac) Arizona RPI (while still being very talented) schools.)
