Confirmed or spec? My thought was he gets let go or takes an analyst role (expensive one, to play out his contract) and Moore becomes the WR coach.

Wow. I'm pretty positive on the Patterson hire and I'm frankly surprised as all get out on the Cook news, since he was under contract. It's small potatoes, but yeah, we have a chance to be quite upgraded frankly if we can find a younger WR coach who is dynamite on the Recruiting trails.

hire seems good to me. Don’t know much about his TE recruiting ability but guy can obviously coach the position at a P5 level which is a step up from Cook who is someone not a single person on this board or anywhere in college football had ever heard of when he was hired.

This is a great move-Look at his career path. There's no way he can become the lead recruiter in Texas for a Big 10 team that has had two 9+ win seasons in 3 years if he isn't really well networked in Texas and Oklahoma.

It's over the top praise/excitement. But from a "baby steps" standpoint, it's a fvcking relief to see that our current staff is at least being aggressive.
It’s like congratulating a buddy for their pornhub history when he strikes out at the bar for the millionth time. Coaches have to close at some point
