B1G is the better league.
The top of the league, maybe. From top to bottom, I’d still take the SEC. These things tend to go in cycles anyway, so what might be the better league today might not be in another 2-3 years. What’s not in dispute is that the B1G and the SEC combined are the class of college football.

I would agree with this.

Nebraska isn't going to be beating the top teams in either league soon, and rarely have much shot against the middle. They have had some success against the bottom teams.

The bottom SEC teams have generally not been as bad as Purdue, this years UCLA, the 1-11 Northwestern teams, etc.

I would agree on the top of the Big 10 being better. The SEC's middle is far better-I mean if you had last year's Nebraska team play last year's LSU or last year's Tennessee tomorrow, @BuffSurveyor probably won't like the ending of either.
You're correct. I wouldn't like ending of either, but I'd expect the defeats with last year's team.

No more than you do and will. No sure your so called "Coach Prime" can get it done. Even in the stripped down Big 12.
Hey Surveyor, would Nebraska fans rather be in the SEC or the B1G? Especially if they got Oklahoma and Texas every year, and then just schedule Iowa out of conference.

You think there is any way in the world the Nebraska would schedue a yearly OOC game with a team with a pulse? Yes they do some one offs but even those they try for low hanging fruit (UCLA) and still end up taking the L (Colorado.)

If CU isn't a rival of yours, wtf are you doing here? Not like you are competing in the B1G either outside a few sports.
I just remember going out there for the game in 2024 and seeing this artist's rendering of some guy who looked like Tom Osborne. I asked the concierge at the hotel we were staying at who that was, and she said "Oh thats our volleyball coach, John Cook."

No idea how I kept a straight face until we got our room keys.

For the comedy presented by the Prime experiment. Plus the politics in the non sports threads I find agreeable. But that can't be discussed in this forum reserved for football discussions.

I don't consider CU a rival anymore only because we aren't scheduled yearly. CU is more of a rival than anyone we play in the B1G.

I was holding out hope our teams meet in the NCAA basketball tournament but your team looks terrible lately. 78 to 44 loss to Texas Tech...ooof.

Wrong thread.
