Official National Championship Game Thread

What a dismal end to the season. If only Stanford could have figured out Oregon or Northwestern, this might be fun for me.

It should be a good game (I hope). Bama's defense can be really tough but Clemson has the better QB. I am pulling for Clemson.

It would be cool living here to see Clemson win. I'll be rooting for them.

But several workmates are legit Bama fans actually from Alabama, and it'd be nice to see their smiles tomorrow.

I know no one with Clemson ties.
 
What if Saban were to leave Alabama if they win tonight since he has nothing left to prove? Root for Bama then?
 
WHAT!?!?! There's a CFB game tonight? How were we supposed to know, without constant reminders on E$PN for the past two months, and all day "pre-game" coverage today? Which I have been studiously avoiding, watching NCIS reruns all day.

I'll watch the game ... once it actually starts at somewhere around 6:50 pm MT or so. And since Fowler will be doing play-by-play, that alone makes it worthwhile. Rooting for Clemson mainly because I'm sick of the $EC and Bama ... and because they haven't won the MNC since the first year of the Reagan administration.

But I'm with J.R., if Bama gets off to an early lead, I'll probably watch reruns of "Big Bang Theory" for the rest of the evening.

I won't be watching Big Bang Theory. That show sucks.
 
Clemson should have done better on field position with that exchange after their respective opening series.

Saban feels like he's winning right now.
 
Clemsons D looks pretty good but they're going to have to play out of their minds to shut down Henry. Especially with two injured players in.

I kind of figure that if they ever find bigfoot that it will probably be all over the news before they produce and broadcast the episode. But you never know.
