Our game with USC was cancelled but we will be playing SDSU instead. Better than not having a game this week

Games of note:
Friday
Iowa State at Texas - Winner of this game is in a prime spot to make the Big12 CG. Yes even if that's Texas

Nebraska at Iowa - Hawkeyes roll against Frost and company

Notre Dame at UNC - ND plays 3 of their last 4 games in the state of North Carolina assuming they make the ACCCG. Mack Brown has never coached against ND, oddly enough. UNC can score alot with Howell at QB and a couple of good receivers including Dyami Brown but they have trouble stopping people. I don't expect ND to have too much trouble in this one.

Stanford at Cal - the Big Game

Oregon at Oregon State - Should be an easy win for Oregon but they need to start looking much more impressive to have even an outside shot at the CFP.

Saturday
Penn State at Michigan - Sounds like a big game

Ohio State at Illinois - Buckeyes look to roll on after getting tested by Indiana last week.

Auburn at Alabama - Saban will not coach. Won't matter.

Pitt at Clemson - Will Trevor Lawrence finally get to play a game again?

Utah at Washington - Washington is still a major player in the North and I think will beat Oregon when they play.

Stuck at work. Trying to monitor foosball the best I can.
Iowa only up 3-0 against the Bugeaters.

No worries, you know that Iowa will win, it's just a matter of by how much.

Any fusker loss is fun but which is better? A blowout where we get to see the looks of despair and resignation on the bugeater players and fans or a relatively close loss where we get to see their hopes rise but knowing that eventually some breakdown, some error, some mismatch of talent is going to end up resulting in a loss.

And then after the game. In the blowout we get defeated Frosty blaming his teams lack of talent and coaching on others, or the close loss where he throws some players under the bus and returns to his conspiracy theories about B1G scheduling and officiating.

How is Petros Papadakis on TV? Really. He’s on one of the sport shows after local news here. He’s 10 times worse when you can see him.

His voice can be tough to listen to but I think he does a good job as a color guy

Cal seems pretty lost most seasons. No idea what happened there.
fify

Cal is a program that should be better than it is.

The administration gives them a lot of leeway in terms of getting players in and they have alumni with money.

They get a few up years but more often seem to sink.
