Other games thread: Week 5 (Dec 5-11)

Went to Dayton - VT game last night with my 16 yo nephew. First ever uncle/nephew only outing with him.

Tech dominated the whole way.

Trying to sound like i know something.... I'm telling him at the start of the 2nd when we're up 18, "be prepared... Dayton will make a run. It's a matter of how much Tech can contain it"

At the under 8 minute media TO, "ok, I was wrong about that run..."

Kid had the post game radio show on during his drive home.... exactly like his Dad at that age.

Rutgers got robbed at ohio state

This is pretty unreal. Maybe we could schedule them;

Yeah, that Rutgers-OSU ending was total bs. Guy who hit the winning 3 for OSU was standing out of bounds and drifted onto the court to accept the pass. This is not allowed in college basketball. Generously, I want to say that the refs just missed it. But a big part of me suspects that Rutgers got homered by gutless refs who didn't want to disallow a game winner on OSU's home court.

Wow, didn't hear that mentioned during halftime of our game unless I missed it.

I felt there were a number of times the refs favored o state. Helping out high ranked or better-regarded teams is way too common.

I saw the highlights and they mentioned what @Buffnik said above. Only tidbit I'd add, pretty damn sure I heard them mention that play wasn't reviewable. Wtf it isn't, I have no idea? They review about every damn thing else, **** it up most of the time, why not another thing to review?
