Shilo is impressing in Tampa Bay

After having an impressive rookie mini-camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, former Colorado safety Shilo Sanders has inked his rookie deal. Sanders, son of Deion and older brother of Shedeur, signed a three-year, $2.965 million deal with his new squad.

While it's unclear how much of that money is guaranteed, that’s undeniably a big chunk of money for an undrafted free agent. The brass in Tampa Bay seemingly is liking what they are seeing out of Sanders, as head coach Todd Bowles had kind things to say about the former Buff during his media availability after mini-camp.

“Like the rest of the safeties, he’s very intelligent,” Bowles said. “He’s very loud. You can hear him today, making calls and everything, so he has a good grasp of things day one.”

Now #28 with the Bucs, Shilo is looking to crack the 53-man roster and impress even further. Although things sound like they’re going swimmingly for Sanders in Southwestern Florida, there’s still much work to be done.
