This is a pretty desperate response. Tries to paint me, a fan for over 25 years, as an outsider. Fails right there. Rick has delivered 2 winning seasons and the worst season in modern history. Asking a guy to deliver non embarrassing football and a few wins is not unreasonable.

many other places with ****tier support than CU win a lot more games. The nonsense excuse of institutional support is terrible especially when you drill down into what RG was responsible for.

Rick couldn't even hit his layups and support basketball. He dismantled a support system that was already built in return for... nothing.

No one forced him to **** up the MacIntyre extension. No one forced him to hire Karl Dorrell due to a lack of institutional support. We had money for a much better hire than a dude who had a ****ing house in the area.

He is the one who ****ed up and hired Mel Tucker, then let that relationship fall apart within 9 months. Also the same guy who gave him an easy out with the contract.

He's also the guy who hired Prime, and then made him a top 10 paid coach in the sport. How deep was the interest in prime really?

So yea, he's got support now and could still be screwing up. 9 wins was nice but is Prime getting better as a coach or is he stagnating?
I was a student at the end and pinnacle of the McCartney era. I arrived as Gordon Gee was leaving. The problems with chancelor who shall not be named grow out of the malignant President that saw McCartney to retire. From a leadership perspective we had numerous campus leaders from then that largely sucked at leading. The Liquor Mart AD was probably our last decent AD until George. And we fired him. But as you point out, all of them were likely handcuffed.

We havent been a winner in decades because we made the choice not to.
