That says it happened after Utah, so who gets fired after the AZ offensive failures a week later
Definitely wasn't much better but they would've put more points on the board if Salter didn't suck balls. That says it happened after Utah, so who gets fired after the AZ offensive failures a week later
And penalty from Miller for lining up incorrectly. Could have easily been 24-21 early in the game.Definitely wasn't much better but they would've put more points on the board if Salter didn't suck balls.
Nah. Someone will have the ego to believe they'll succeed and will take the $.I am a bit worried though that we’ve had to demote an OC mid season twice in 3 years. I feel like that’s gonna come back to bite us in the ass a bit when looking for a qualified OC.
I have the exact same concern. I’ve long felt the reason we got Shurmer this year is because we didn’t get any good candidates interested in the gig after how Sean Lewis was handled. The playbook still sucks so not much will probably change. But I’m glad it still happened. I like Bartolone and I’d love for us to have a West Coach style / Mike Leach type offensive identity going forward.

Yep. I agree. I hope Prime tells the new OC, it is your show. You want new AC's, fine, go pick em. You want full control over all aspects of the offense? Fine. And here is a nice new contract to help you decide. I don't know, but suspect, there are a lot of guys who don't want to coach under Prime.I have the exact same concern. Now that Sheduer is gone, I think Prime has a lot less control of the offense and how it should look. I think if we had Sean Lewis as OC this year, he’d let Lewis have full control of the offense and most of the staff. Shedeur liked Pat and thus we’re in the situation we are.Yep. I agree. Long runs and TDs are fun but holding on to the ball and getting 1st downs isn't a bad thing. Not spectacular but Atkins contributes.Oh, and we saw a lot more passes to TE against Arizona. It turns out Atkins isn't a dynamic runner and much of a YAC threat, but he makes up for it in run blocking.
Found leaked tape of our new playbook
This is going to be OC #3 (I suppose #4 if Bartolone goes down as an interim play caller) in what will be four years barring Prime stepping down because of his health. The playbook still sucks so not much will probably change. From what I have heard, Brett doesn't want the OC job. Not sure why.Vegas just released the odds for CU’s next offensive coordinator.
Brett Bartolone -10000
Byron Leftwich - 9000
The field +100000000000000

Not sure I understand this line of thinking. Our offense has not been good this year. If next guy improves it at all, he will look like a genius. Not sure who would want this job due to the failure of so many OC’s under Prime. Although at this point it’s the best time to take over (nobody cares about CU anymore, JuJu is finally the guy, etc).
That’s what everything after the “Although” was about. Not sure I understand this line of thinking. Our offense has not been good this year. If next guy improves it at all, he will look like a genius.
so…nobody will want the job, but then again, maybe everyone will want the job? That’s what everything after the “Although” was about.

It’s called stream of consciousness. I am large, I contain multitudes.so…nobody will want the job, but then again, maybe everyone will want the job?
Bartolone doesn’t even want it the rumor mill says. You can’t see how this job might look to an outsider? But it’s the best time to take this job. What is so tough to understand?so…nobody will want the job, but then again, maybe everyone will want the job?
