Via uniwatch today, there are some killer photos of vintage Buffs unis.

There's this one, from the 50s.

And this, from the 60s.

How awesome would it be to wear those for a throwback uni?

I was happy to see some CU love at Uniwatch today.

I'd really go for throwbacks using this helmet design:

I don't know if it's the picture quality or what, but that horn looks like it was haphazardly spray-painted on with a bad template.

With this one as a close second...

But please stay away from one 50's with the little horns up front, that design just doesn't look tough enough.

I know the Buffs played in that the black and silver helmet in '98, but other than that, have they ever played in any kind of throwback uniform?

I'm not a big fan of these. They look nothing like a buffalo's horns which point upward, not down.

Plus, they look too much like ram horns.

I bet he would do it - but he would probably be very likely to do it with the '89/'90 version of the jerseys. Maybe mid 80's version with the blue stripe on the sleeve.
