Ced Benson, Ricky "Sensomilla" Williams, Cory Redding, Chris Simms, Shaun Rogers...there is quite a list of guys who really kind of petered out at the next level. I had dinner with a couple of former OL who played quite a while in the league, they called the phenomenon "Look like Tarzan, play like Jane". I am sure they did not originate that phrase, and they weren't referring to tu players necessarily but it seemed appropriate.

Cory Redding has actually been a pretty decent pro, but the rest of that list is pretty much true.
 
I'd argue that Ricky Williams was a pretty good pro until his love of weed overtook his love of football.
