Well, here we go. @ Utah. Per ESPN SP+, #14 in the country. 33 offense, 8th defense, 62d special teams. CU is as one would expect given our record: 63rd, 55th offense, 64th defense. Somehow our special teams is terrible in SP+.

Anyway, UTAH seems purpose built to destroy CU. Running QB? Check. Solid running game? Check check. Good defense to force Salter to throw the ball against a good pass rush (they got a guy with more sacks this season than our entire defense). Checkerundo.

Late night kickoff at a rough environment against a team that was oh so close to beating BYU @ BYU. They will also want revenge for last year's beat down.

Prediction: doom.

I'm going to ignore the jersey. I am not going to ignore the fact that I'm sad that we almost never wear what I consider to be the best helmet in college football anymore.

Honestly, and I hope I’m not saying anything that someone might take to be overbroad instead of just referring to Prime, but dude wears gold at all times. He has flashy shoots with recruits where they’re sitting on gilded chairs and whatnot. The last thing I thought he’d do is move away from the gold helmets.

I seldom even notice uniforms - like to the point if you blindfolded me in the middle of the third quarter and asked me what uniform combo we were wearing, I probably wouldn't be able to tell you.

But I thought whatever we wore against ISU looked stupid (I don't remember what it was).

Weirdly, this uniform combo doesn't really bother me.

I assumed he would switch to gold chrome

Last time we went up against a team that was supposed to dominate our o line and force us to throw (BYU) our o line did just fine. I think we will be able to stick with them as long as Shurmer doesn’t do his typical dumb **** and go away from anything that works. Also would be a great game to get DT back but I have no idea what his injury is

So, I'd say your eyesight is terrible, but the Anna Kendrick evidence just confirms you have terrible, terrible, terrible taste.

I am in Orlando, got to see Napier’s last game at Florida live, and will have trouble staying up for this one. Not predicting a good result

Utah is beatable. CU can’t make a lot of mistakes but the Utes are not a powerhouse on offense. So far…..
