Who Starts Against Arizona?

Salter can't handle pressure, can't make his reads, and is both indecisive and inaccurate. Often plays like he's afraid to get hit. I don't need to see any more.

Staub looks like what he is - a lightly recruited backup who seems to know what to do but is very limited in his toolbox. He's not the answer.

We need an injection of hopium energy. That's JuJu. There's been great energy when he's been on the field. There will be growing pains with him, but that's sort of the point. We need to be building toward something, not just trying to tread water and get through the season.

I think we don't see JuJu till the W Va game. This way he doesn't waste his redshirt.

I don't think anyone should be concerned about who our QB is in 2029. We need a spark if we want to salvage a bowl season in 2025. We need to know whether we've got our 2026 QB or need to find him.
And if he's great, it won't matter either way. And the 5 for 5 is likely coming. There's no mortgaging the future when you're starving.

Salter's attitude is worse than his play. I'd release him today. Thanks for half-trying.

JuJu for the last 3 games - he's not burning a redshirt at this point. It's clearly been the plan all along, which is why we didn't see him against Houston.

In this age, JuJu's "camp" should always consider their best interest.

A pro career is far from a given for any 18 year old.
His earning power possibly has already peaked.
5 years of NIL is better than 4. If he's as good as his ratings, that's the floor of his earnings power.

Zero Chance we see him play all of the last 4.

Staub vs Houston was probably better than Salter plays that team.
At least the team clearly respected Staub and they don't respect Salter. You could see it when he was pulled vs Delaware.

I would fire Shurmur this morning. Need to shake things up and energize the kids.
Release Salter and Shurmur together. Don't need them in the locker room.

I've been calling for Staub over Salter since Georgia Tech. Did Staub look terrible v. Houston? Yes he did. Is he a great option? I don't think so. Is he our best option? I think so.

Word from the burrito stand last week was that Lewis needs another year to become physically more mature and learn the offense.

I've seen enough of Salter. This just isn't working.

We're playing out the string because a bowl isn't happening after last night's debacle. That's the kind of performance that has to force changes offensively.

Its time for Leftwich as OC and a new signal caller.

NGL - that team last night looked like a team that has given up. Like from the first play. I think you have to give the team a shot of adrenaline, or just let the season die and prepare for an exodus at the end of the season. Staub isn’t going to give you that adrenaline. Only Juju can. You have to make the switch.

I think benching Salter for good does communicate to this entire team that whatever the **** that was last night was unacceptable, even if JuJus camp says he can't play until WVU.

I made this point after TCU-JuJus first start needs to come at home. West Virginia is garbage, but Morgantown does get loud because that football team is all they have.

At this point, I think you have to do right by him and preserve his redshirt.

I don't think Juju is worried about whether he'll have 4 more years at college level. If he's as good as advertised he'll be long gone.

I wonder if Juju and his family have a voice in these decisions

The fact that they no longer also have couches is their own damn fault.

The only voice should be the 1 million we are flushing down his toilet this year. At least that's how it works in the real ****ing world.

After seeing this team and Salter/Staub for the last 8 games, if Lewis et al don't think he himself is any better than that, well I got news for you. Lewis ain't it. Hit the portal son.
