Seriously. Will we be able to get it up the court?

My guess is that CU is still looking for a guard, but if they don't get one or go a different route, there are other options to a traditional PG bringing the ball up the floor. Baskin ran the offense for CMU last year and had a large part in ball handling responsibility. Maybe Dak can bring it up against a less mobile center. Or maybe, they could even pass the ball up the floor. So many options. The era of a point guard only responsible for bringing the ball up the floor is an obsolete concept.Seriously. I hope you’re right. Baskin seemed to have a lot of turnovers against lower quality opponents. My guess is that CU is still looking for a guard, but if they don't get one or go a different route, there are other options to a traditional PG bringing the ball up the floor. Sweet. We get a generational talent and we can go without a PG. Until then, recruit 2 every year. Why no? Jokic does it, Lebron does it, Giannis does it, so why not have someone other than a guard run the offense. I'm not saying CU has any of those guys guys on their roster, but teams have success with out using a true point guard all the time.
If Tad would've not been a wussy and had given Lawson the opportunity to bring the ball up, he'd still be here.Sweet. We get a generational talent and we can go without a PG. Until then, recruit 2 every year.
No is because of not listening to people like you.Why no? Jokic does it, Lebron does it, Giannis does it, so why not have someone other than a guard run the offense. I'm not saying CU has any of those guys guys on their roster, but teams have success with out using a true point guard all the time.
I hear what you're saying. But you need a press breaker & someone who can make things happen off the bounce in the half court. I'm very ok with a non-traditional PG who is forward-sized or your leading scorer, but it's got to be someone who can weave through traffic.Guess I’ll just bow out then.

Tad prioritizing Big who can play 5 (below, in article), then “pausing” makes me think he may be willing to wait on best-available talent in portal after 5/1? Hope that’s ‘24 Trent Perry at Pt G.
Tad recruits combo guards for reason; including to have some ball-handling for years like this coming one- where we lose starting caliber Pt G early. Guys who played Pt in HS: Julian, RJ, Javon, Courtney, ‘Drew, Felix, even Diop. Guessing RJ, Drew or Felix w/ best shot at PtG behind Julian?
With Tad in deep w/ talented ‘25 Pt G’s, I think we’ll be fine to wait a year to get new Pt. Though love-it if Perry comes now instead? Just not sure current portal Pt G’s are needed w/ ‘25 Pts waiting: CU in Top-10 w/ Green, & rising Colorado native Josiah Sanders w/ early CU offer (he’s on verge of blowing up, if he plays well over summer).
Now-days gotta give guys more early playing time to keep them from transferring; so wouldn’t want Drew & Felix to fight for minutes with transfer Pt G. Or even have ‘25 guys fight w/ PtG transfer? So far, Tad picking seniors from transfer- so expect him to continue w/ 1-year rentals- so we can still get a large ‘25 class? ‘26 class deep too: Hammond & Placid Twins all Native Colorado Guys, & CU in early with ‘26 Bo Ogden (6’5 w/ elite shooting & motor). Will Tad continue to build CU as Development-U w/ HS guys?

Unless there's a secret commit, this is what we are rolling with next year.

Only 1 open scholarship left though, right?I think we need 1-2 PGs and we are done with the portal
