As I mentioned in the Jr Day thread, I've personally known Isaac for perhaps 8 years or so.

His dad played CFB on the offensive line so Isaac has been coached with good techniques since young.

He is every bit of 6'7", 250. Plenty of size here. The pics don't lie. Has not even started to tap into what a college S&C program would do for him.
He is one of the nicest, most respectful and polite young men you will ever meet.

He is completely off the radar as he's done nothing to promote himself such as camps, etc. His film is very good. His size is real. And he doesn't have short arms.

Note: I have decided to remove all of my further posts regarding Isaac since I know his family well, my son knows him well, and he's cleaned out my refrigerator on more than one occasion. I am considered a CU booster by the NCAA's definition (clearly) and thus I'll avoid the subject of football with him if I run into him. Probably a good safe policy. Hope he makes a great decision that's the best decision for him and the family. If anybody talks bad about him, I will personally come after you!

Is he planning on going to camps this Spring/Summer? There's obviously something to him if the coaching staff gave him an offer on Junior day, seems like he might be in a position to pull several more offers if he hits the camp circuit. There are obviously a few OL prospects coming out of Colorado as usual, how would you say he stacks up against them.
 
This one's about upside. He's got the frame and athleticism to develop. I like that approach on the OL. Since we're not in a position to land guys who look like USC OLs as high school juniors, what we need to do is build depth and find the Nate Solder/David Bakhtiari/Alex Lewis types who have huge upside but need some time to develop.

Thought the same thing watching that film. Very raw, but big frame and nice athleticism. Frankly, if you are not taking at least one real OL project every year, I think you are doing your team a great disservice.

I promise you that if you see Isaac in person, the one thought you will NOT have is that he's not going to be big enough. I see we are using 6'7", 250 lbs as his size. I don't know boys. Saw him a couple weeks ago and he appears much larger than that. I'm not going to speculate, but hopefully Adam gets that interview in soon. Having enough size is not going to be a concern with Mr. Miller.

That dude mowed me over in practice so many times. I hated being small and a DB. :lol:

He started as a true freshman on the OL. Too bad things didn't work out for him. Really good guy.
