Recruits wondering what CU and Boulder is all about:

This is one of the reasons our time at CU is treasured.

****. I’ve spent my entire life going to and from Boulder because I’ve loved it so much growing up. I spent 5 years there for school (1 wasn’t CU) and after that i still spent every Saturday for as long as i can remember going hiking in Chatauqua. Never shocks me when others figure out its a great place from a far.

WDE / 6-7 / 220 / Higley (Gilbert, AZ)
#4 WDE / #40 overall (247 Composite)

Seems to be one of those great all-around athletes who will have the option of playing whichever of 2 sports "he loves most" (assuming he doesn't play both) in college, as he's also a top-level basketball commit (although maybe (???) not quite as highly regarded as football), with 8 D1 bball offers already showing at https://www.verbalcommits.com/players/jason-harris .

Per http://www.azpreps365.com/articles/...son-harris-comes-from-a-long-line-of-athletes , sounds like he plans on choosing a sport for college this summer. (Also of note- both his parents are u. of arizona grads and former athletes, AND he has a brother who's already a wildcat.)

He's averaging a double double (20.4 pts./ 10.4 reb.) so far this high school season per http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/jason-harris/sNxJHmVXEea-8KA2nzwbTA/gendersport/basketball-stats.htm .

Probably not the best source for recruiting, but ESPN (http://www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/230217/jason-harris) has him as the #20 ranked power forward in his class, and #2 ranked 2020 bball player in Arizona. Edit- also now found that 247 composite rankings (https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Basketball/CompositeRecruitRankings/?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool) has him ranked #188 bball 2020 recruit in the country, #30 PF and #8 in the state.

247s ratings question. I don't understand their composite. It says
All industry services have a different philosophy on number of "stars" distributed with each class. The 247Sports Composite Rating assigns stars based on an approximate average distribution of stars from the industry.
but look at Smart Chibuzo. He is rated a 3 star by all the major services AB quotes, but is a composite 4 star. This isn't logical on its surface. He is a high 3 star, does 247s use other services that tipped him over the top?
