Are there any podcasts or archived radio shows or anything of the like online? I can only seem to find the buffstampede podcast and it always seems way out of date. Does radio1190 do anything or is there something elsewhere?

McChesney has his own podcast now. Splits about 40-60 between CU/CFB and Broncos/NFL. Has already had some pretty big time guests. He is a bit rough and he doesn't sugarcoat his opinions, but kind of refreshing. Especially with regard to the Broncos.

Without a perfect thread to throw it into, I just thought I'd share this quote from an interview with Drew Wilson on BuffStampede:

"Now that you have had a chance to work with some of Tucker’s recruits, and you’ve also had a chance to interact with a lot of the 2020 prospects on visits, what is the biggest difference you’ve noticed in the type of players Tucker is after?"

“Size. There are some creatures walking through here now. And I mean that in a really, really good way. All the linemen they are recruiting are big dudes with big frames. The raw material is there. We are also recruiting athletes, speed. One kid, we clocked him at a 4.3 in the 40-yard dash (at one of our summer camps), and I thought I was wrong. The coach that clocked him across from me got him at 4.3, too. Coach Tucker is not afraid to go out and recruit anybody. It is good to see we are going to go after top level recruits, and we’re going to get them.”

I'm afraid to believe this.

I’ve listened to three episodes and thought they did a pretty good job. The host is not the best but the color commentator Is solid.

It was very interesting to hear PAC-12 guys from other areas comment on Colorado. They were bullish on Tucker and had Montez much higher rated than most other commentators I’ve heard. Anyway, the podcast is worth checking out, IMO

Just listened to their episode about PAC QB’s. They referred to Montez as “The Red Baron” multiple times. I’ve never heard this before so it must be something they came up with. Any idea what the meaning behind it is?

He spoke at pac 12 media days last year about eating pizzas every day his freshman and sophomore seasons and the change he made in his diet for the 2018 season. That's all I got

Ah that’s probably right. Been so long I forgot that was a brand of frozen pizza

Interesting, I just assumed he was a Totino's Party Pizza addict, just like myself in college. In his infamous interview on the matter, he just mentions his affinity for frozen pizza......probably some sort of rule about mentioning specific brand names. Anyway, until I hear of something better, I'll go with your theory, Red Barron Pizza it is.

When searching for our podcast, be sure to search for BuffStampede Podcast, not BuffStampede Radio. Enjoyed doing some different shows this off-season, including one with Sefo Liufau, an interview with concussion researcher Matt McQueen, and a MacIntyre Era player draft with Tyler. And we'll have three more podcasts up between now and the start of preseason camp.

Can't wait. The dog days are almost over.
