The team leaders (Hypolite and others) need to step up now....

seriously what the hell is going on? why is this happening. i know they are kids but seriously damn this is getting old. the season and spring was looking bright. WAS no i am not so sure. i am begining to worry. i was really looking forward to katoa. now i dont know if we will ever see him and what is geer thinking?

keep your ****ing hands to your self. Seriously. And if you cant handle being an adult at a party DONT GO! The team should not be going to bars or parties if they cant control their actions.
 
I don't think Hawk could hold a team meeting if he wanted to. Not until Spring practice starts, anyway.

This is on the guys like Hypolite and little Hawk. They need to get stuff straightened out right now.

Great, reinterate that point AGAIN. Since what happened with SIPILI, I think he needs to remind them in a more harsh way,I doubt it would do any harm.

If you know any way to keep every single one of your players out of trouble, then i'm sure everyone here would like to know. The truth is you will never be able to keep 100% of your players out of trouble. Tell me one single coach that has. You can yell, kick, and scream. But the results will never as good as you want.

But your right. I'm sure reminding them in a harsh way will effectively solve the problem once and for all. :huh:
 
This sounds bad and inexcusable but I still wonder - do student athletes (moslty football players) have a higher inicidence of this than the general student body??? Not that this matters but I wonder it its a symptom of adolescence of athletics. Hard to figure as all the pub goes to the atheletes

Yep, this stuff goes on everywhere and always has. They are fresh out of HS and are learning and making mistakes. That is how you learn, I'm sure everybody on here has been squeeky clean through their HS and college days after their parents told them to behave themselves. It will continue to happen.

It happened under Mac, it happened under Neu, it happened under Barnett, and it has happened under Hawk. No surprise. I'm sure Hawk is teaching these guys to be class acts. I remember when Bieniemy was arrested for assaulting a fireman at his mothers home and he was suspended for the Tennessee game in '90.

Youjust hear about it when it's football players. General students who no one gives a **** about gets swept under the rug.

hahah not at all. The regular student body has many more incidents and much more serious incidents. No one cares to hear about it though.
 
It must be the bitter, it shoulda been me, wanna be athletes that come across real athletes and feel they need to prove something. I used to work with a guy that confronted Bradlee Van Pelt in bar a back during his CSU days. He was smart and would'nt take the bait even though he was drunk, from what my friend said anyway.

Yes,having hawk call a team meeting is mass hysteria. Lay off the sause for once. You guys kill me, your nothing to see here attitude is awesome. OMG,hawk calls team meeting, he's freaking out.

You're right, no problems ever at cu,nothing wrong here,1 lb gone last year,and in a matter of hours we have two similar incidents.


The hysteria is coming from you acting like calling a team meeting to address this is freaking out.

Obviously it doesn't bother you and you don't mind cu getting slammed again.


Other than that,hope you are having a great time in padre and you better have some pics!
