January Contact Period Thread

The contact period runs through February 1st. This is the last chance for awhile for coaches to make off-campus visits to schools and to host recruits in Boulder, so it really helps to kick off 2021 recruiting in earnest. Basically the entire month of February is a dead period.
Not sure why the Buffs aren't hosting any visitors this weekend, but next weekend is scheduled to be pretty big with William Anglen visiting amongst a bunch of 2021 unofficial visitors. Helps that the hoops team hosts Washington next Saturday night as well.
I think you answered your own question. No major sports events this weekend to take recruits to. (Apologies to women’s basketball hosting Utah)

Means at least Nick Dimitris and Anthony Rosas are likely coming, given the ties to Sierra Vista HS (recruiting coordinator?). Confirmation by Rosas:

Both are national type prospects. Dimitris is a DE and Rosas is likely an OG at the next level.

No reason to have any 2021’s out this weekend with Junior day coming up next. 2021’s aren’t allowed to take OV’s until after the February dead period ends so it makes sense they aren’t having anyone. It would have to be on the recruits dime and they would want to come back for the Junior day which is also on their dime.
