Coach Prime / Buffs Football Social Media Thread

Just imagine what the sideline is gonna be like when Lil Wayne, The Rock, Shannon Sharpe, etc. are there.

Nah, I think we’re beyond that. Some of those “traditions” have been at the root of the downfall of this program. If Prime eventually wants to institute something like that, great, but the pride and tradition of the Colorado buffaloes was entrusted to the timid and the weak for 15+ years. Let’s try this approach
I agree. The NUBS are so last century, as was the red-scare tradition that goes with them. McCartney set the NUBS as the benchmark to beat when they actually were a benchmark, back in the 80s and 90s. It's been almost as long since they've been a national power since we have. Their red doesn't scare anyone anymore.

The only red we are shooting to worry about is splashed around that backwards-ass area down in Alabama and the new standard setter over in Georgia. HCP is comin' for the big boys, and the NUBs just ain't it.

We need to make it clear in comments etc that red isn’t allowed in there. His slides, last week the snapper had on a red sweatshirt, there was a red jacket or blanket or some **** in the players lounge by the barber chair.
This bull**** needs to stop
As an AllBuffer on the high side of 35, this is my immediate reaction as well. I can't help it - it is now ingrained in my DNA. However, if the yung-uns don't want to buy into this, all's good. Just don't be bringin' that ****ing red nonsense around my house!

And, y'all get off my lawn.

Also going to have to cut the folks from JSU some slack, I'm sure they have a ton of red in their wardrobe. It will filter out eventually.
I’m pretty sure every person we’ve seen in any of these videos has either the access to free CU gear or the financial resources required to buy their own. I’m very certain CP could splurge on some new slides.

it does bring up a point though. In one recent video we see that people are sending QB1 some boxes presumably with gifts. Is that not a violation anymore? Could I buy that snapper a non-red sweatshirt if I wanted to?

With his foot issues, I am not going to pass any judgement on the footwear he chooses to wear. Whatever keeps him feeling good is good with me.

Nebraska is a bottom feeder in the Big 10, pitting them at the rival served it’s purpose in the 80’s and 90’s served it’s purpose. But it’s aiming low now.

We have Coach Prime now, so we should have higher standards.

Banning red now is giving them more respect than they deserve. The down years Buffs beat them and spoiled their last coaches tenure from the jump. And their new coach is a goober that tweets in emojis like a teenage girl and is publicly fighting over money from his previous job. Embarrassing.

One of the biggest legends in hip hop comes to visit our HC to tour the facilities and promote the program and the reaction post of some people is having a problem with seeing red shoes being worn. Do I have this right? That's the priority and main takeaway?

Not sure I'd put this particular issue on junior. Everytime I have seen weezy on TV, I've never been able to understand more than 10% of what he is saying lol

not entirely right but i get your point.

Didn't he drop like a few k on a camera soon after they came to Boulder?
I assume it's much easier for him to just walk around with his phone, but yeah, this media stuff seems to be the foundation of what Prime is doing to build, promote and possibly help pay for various aspects of the program (could Well Off, Reach the People and Thee Pregame be part of his NIL offers/plans for recruits?), so you'd think the quality would spare no expense.

The media stuff and I also think other opportunities in the media or entertainment industry. A dude like Lil Wayne with his connections can do a lot of things for you if you're interested in getting into the music industry. And that's just one example of CP's connections.

As for the YT thing, I think the content is always the key thing. People will watch good content even if the production isn't top notch, but a top notch production doesn't help you much if your content is garbage and we know this is good content that people will happily watch. Once you have that, the rest is easy to figure out as I assume a good setup will cost you like 10-15k max and that's affordable even for you or me. Get one or two cameras, a decently powered Macbook, editing software, some accessories and hire an editor if you don't want to or can't edit it yourself and you're golden ... and I guess in a university environment an editor can be found with ease.

He honestly can get a boom mic and if he actually used a computer he could shore up the easy things like that, but we like the rawness of it so it makes sense that the sound is like that since he's using iMovie and things like that
