Hawk should be thankful he hasn't got more tough questions from the media. I see the idots at the ncaa still haven't got simmons squared away yet, this needs to get done now, somebody up there needs to get in someone's ass. The guy should be practicing and ready to go but here we are still waiting and this after hawk and everyone else says no worries and everything is fine. Something smells and it's not city BQ.

Its not the NCAA. As was stated before on Friday, Simmons' JC closed early on friday and hence didn't get his paperwork to the school before the weekend. It should be taken care of today.

But hey, if Hawk acted like a d*ck and started calling up people at the NCAA to rant at them, I'm sure that would help.

Yes. They are simply waiting for an official transcript from his JUCO. Getting a transcript is an arduous process at times, so this does not surprise me in the slightest.

It suprises me that it seems to take our recruits longer to get them here or sometimes denied.

I just read where they expect it today and he should be practicing so all is well.

Trust me, the process sucks. The last time I had to go through it when applying to grad school, it took almost two weeks. And that was getting a freaking transcript from CU-Boulder to CU-Denver. It amazes me how the process still drags in this day and age, but it does.

We should have an allbuffs member like Boulder Buff ,96, 87 or valdez to represent the site and ask a question after each practice.
 
If I were in boulder I would volunteer to interview. I have a lot free time and love going to practices for so e strange reason. I also have no problem in asking a hard question.

To be fair to Ringo (can't believe I'm saying that), Hawk often will talk for 20 minutes and not say a damn thing.

Typical Hawk response: "Yeah, well, we had a pretty good day today. Lots of energy out there. I was pleased with the effort. We're pretty close to being where we want to be. We still have a few issues to sort out, but we're really close."

This response could be to just about any question that is ever asked of the guy.

I hope you are right, but we've been burned before by JC's that did not or could not get the proper paper work in. I can't remember the exact circumstances or the name of the player, however. But I AM concerned.

This is a transcript issue (need official seal). It has nothing to do with him not being admitted into school, which has been the issue before.

I guess I do not get why we don't fly someone out to the JUCO from the athletic department and get that transcript in hand. We need to get him on the field and up to speed.
