I would say the first person to ask is the DL coach. You know, the same guy that has recruited lights out for several years now and has stacked with talent.

It has come to this... BB = Syko.![]()
hol on a sec. Are you implying that this is another D Scott / Simmons deal, where he's got the talent, but is sitting it because he's not a practice field phenom?
No. I'm implying our DL coach is not a good coach. At all.
Other than mediocre recruiting and poor player development, he's doing an okay job.
Certainly players do not get better at that position. Last year we had 3 players that were Dline seniors, Lucas who was a 4 star out of HS and played as a true Frosh, Hypolite who has on the all - big 12 team as a Junior, and Nicholas who was a highly recruited player out of HS signing with ND. All these guys were multi-year starters but never seemed to be taught any DL moves or techniques. And it showed in their senior year none of them excelled. It seems the only thing that is taught is to try to overpower the Oline...good luck with that.
we did stunts against WY... First time I have seen the buffs do that in a long time. Only a few tho.Good post. No swim moves, spin moves, hand technique, stunts etc...

Urban Meyer just called and wants to buy out Bandisons contract in light of his ability to teach the stunt.

Great post. Last year should have been a big year for the DL and it was the exact opposite. Not only was there a lack of DL moves/techniques, but I recall seeing our DL playing out of position way too often.
:lol:I remember when we all complained we would never get a true stud DT. We got two this past year... along with Kasa.
And to make matters worse, our rotation burnt our seniors out while ensuring that this year's d-line would be very inexperienced. Herrod played a fairly good number of snaps, Cunningham got some too, but those guys plus Shields, Obi, Goree and Kaynor should have all been getting a lot more game reps.
...and only one of those DTs made it into school, which is what really matters. You can laugh all you want, but our DL depth is bad, amongst the worst in the conference. You think that might have something to do with how we looked against CSU and Toledo? Bandison has one good year of recruiting and that is supposed to vindicate him?
Yep. It was a bit sad watching the last few games as Hypo/Nicholas looked exhausted.
