Becaue I want them to know that I support them. **** the rest of you. These men are going to be winners next year. I believe that. How do I let them know. How do us "believers" let them know?

DBT - seriously, stop suggesting we don't support the team. It's bull****. I get where you're coming from with Hawkins, but you're just being an asshole to act like you're the only one who supports the players.

OK, SORRY! I AM WHIPPED! I DID NOT MEAN TO SUGGEST THAT I AM THE ONLY DICKWAD THAT SUPPORTS THE TEAM!!!! SHEESHH! I just want to know if there is a kind of team e:mail. Man, guys, I'm really sorry for coming across like a dick.
 
I should have said, "Is there a way that we can e:mail the team to let 'em know we are behind them." Sorry guys. I feel stupid.

Don't know the answer to the question, but I'd be pretty surprised if there is any kind of public team e-mail list available. Seems like it could lead to all kinds of headaches the AD, the coaches and the players wouldn't want to deal with.
 
Honestly, I doubt there is one e-mail that the entire team has access to, so you would probably be well suited to send it to Mike Bohn. I am sure he would happy to pass it along.

Arrrg. I'm not happy. But I think we can turn it around. I think Hawkins has something somewhere or he would not be here. Oregon and Washington were after him and he chose to come here because he believed in CU. Maybe we should believe in him. My kids have ****ed up so many times, but I stick by them. Thats the way I am.

that's admirable...and i'd love to see a turnaround next year. but, to me, i take the less faith based, more secular Enlightenment approach. empirically, i've seen almost nothing that makes me believe in:

1. hawk's ability to win games against teams of equal talent
2. can't win road games
3. O is last in the conference almost every year (Boise playbook, his calling card?)
4. special teams stink
5. dumb penalties short circuit drives regularly
6. says we are gonna have a downhill run game, can't run the ball

etc.

You are a professor. Do you believe that those that fail once will always fail? Do you judge a student by his/her first exam? Failure is the best "teacher" we have. I embrace failure for that reason. I believe that the strong will use failure as a motivator. Sounds hokie, I know. But I believe that. I believe that every man on this team will use this season as a motivator.
