    College Football Realignment

    I think it depends how you define market. The Bay Area is historically extremely pro-sports oriented and, while populous, has little support for college athletics. Texas, while certainly big on college sports, is saturated with college teams commanding bigger followings than SMU and TCU.

    I hadn't considered people intentionally downgrading to avoid crowds, but that makes sense. I know several people who prefer to hang at the back of GA concerts for the same reason.

    In most cases, I suspect they bought a cheap ticket and their morals drive them to stay in their assigned seats even though free upgrades are readily available.

    Just noting we only sold out 4 home games last year and only two so far this year. With a 50k capacity.

    When I was hospitalized at Cleveland Clinic for two weeks earlier this year, I wondered many times how it was possible they attracted the best medical professionals from (literally) all over the world to that city. Granted, I was there in February which had to be the most miserable month.
