    This is a completely inane complaint, but didn't know where else to put it... Someone can make millions by being a transfer portal statement consultant merely by overhauling the current Title: God's Plan Lede: "First and foremost...." Transition: "With that being said,...." format. Good lord...

    Lived in the same dorm as JJ Billingsley, who played (started?) as a true freshman and he'd always humor me when I'd bump into him on campus and offer up some thought on the upcoming opponent... Dude was a good player, wonder if he could have had a better career if he could have stayed healthy.

    I admire you guys' perseverance being able to muster one iota of hope for the future of this program. Just a lifelong **** sandwich that we keep devouring for some reason. But more on topic, I agree we should have an offensive coordinator.

    I agree with your overall conclusion, but not sure that Hawkins could have succeeded under the best conditions. He was always a fraud - a motivational speaker posing as a football coach... Which, if surrounded with enough support, maybe could succeed. That's basically what RGIII was suggesting...

    Hawkins is the fraud of all frauds - added nothing on the football side... But there is a case to be made that a HC is more like a figurehead anyway - and when viewed through that lens, perhaps there was some universe where he could have succeeded here.
